Another great video dude! What a wicked day on the beach!

snowspider - 23-4-2011 at 06:06 PM

That day must have seen some of the fastest wildest kite buggying done anywhere. Truely EPIC!!

Chad - 23-4-2011 at 06:15 PM

That was an awesome cut and splice job. The time it took to do that! WOW

Very nice! :wee:

bobalooie57 - 23-4-2011 at 06:45 PM

Once again Todd, you've managed to capture the essence of the weekend in under 5 minutes! A superb job. Thanks! :bigok:

Minshall - 23-4-2011 at 06:57 PM

Sweet vid. I am so looking forward to the day when I have my own buggy.

flexiblade - 23-4-2011 at 07:25 PM

Good job all the way around on this one, nice pacing and tempo on your cuts. I do the same thing, popping the safety at the end of the session or when switching out kites, good to know it's working - gold star.

Kober - 23-4-2011 at 08:30 PM

Many thanks Mougl and Rich! I can't wait to shoot some footage at Jibe!

BeamerBob - 9-5-2011 at 08:36 AM

Nice job all around. Great footage and angles, nice editing, great song to fit the mood.

bobalooie57 - 9-5-2011 at 08:38 AM

I can hardly wait for your JIBE footage, Todd. I've always said your video's are the next best thing to being there!

Todd - 9-5-2011 at 08:46 AM

Thank you Bob and Bob, very kind of you to say!

mougl - 9-5-2011 at 09:35 AM

Todd: I need some footage of me in the buggy (for future plans)

Could you mount that gopro facing backwards?

bobalooie57 - 9-5-2011 at 09:43 AM

IIRC Todd had a very special mount, I think he was calling his "Donnie and Dean" mount. There's a pic of it somewhere. It's on the back of his helmet!

Todd - 9-5-2011 at 09:53 AM

 Sure thing Mougl, never a problem...

mougl - 9-5-2011 at 09:54 AM

That's awesome!!! Hopefully I won't be seen from the angle TOO much

Todd - 9-5-2011 at 10:00 AM

Prepair for some fast riding then  Oh yeah, Dean is coming to this event... (I wish he would chime in from time to time)

Great video as always Todd. Sorry for not chiming in, I haven't been on the forum in months. I was going to join Dan for the drive to Jibe but other commitments put the ax to that plan. Hope you guys have a fun time down there.

Good winds
Dean

shehatesmyhobbies - 10-5-2011 at 04:30 AM

Dean, it is at least great to see you on the forum vor a visit. Really hoping that you can make it to the fall bash!

Todd - 10-5-2011 at 05:01 AM

Thanks for the compliment Dean and it IS good to hear from you, saddened that you can't make the event.

flyjump - 10-5-2011 at 07:44 AM

Todd, you need to mount a camera on top of your helmit facing upwards for me................I hope we can get some wind in the solid 20s or 30s. From what Angus has told me we are only looking at 12-15mph unless there is a storm coming in. I want to find the top end of the 19m

Weren't you one of the guys that hovered into buggy camp at nabx on a 19?
:wee:

flyjump - 10-5-2011 at 07:50 AM

lol i was only on the 15, but ordered my 19 as soon as i got home. we were definatly riding on the edge that day, i was able to stay out about 20mins longer than the dutch boys.......I definatly did the highest 360's i've ever done that day. Bob i'm so glad you got to see that. I think if we told people we were on 19s and 15s that day nobody would have believed us

here is a photo of john on his 19. this was tuesday morning and the wind was only at about 20mph.......... so you can imagine how big we were going when it got up to 25mph

BeamerBob - 10-5-2011 at 07:55 AM

Thats the most powered up I've ever seen anyone. You guys couldn't get enough traction on the ground to stop your downwind travel. The way you guys floated into camp, I'm not sure you could've stopped without grabbing human anchors like you did.

flyjump - 10-5-2011 at 08:00 AM

lol, dude we were definatly on the edge. I'm not sure who grabbed their harness to hold them down while they were trying to land. Since i was only on the 15m I didn't need to be held down, but on the flip side i wasn't able to get the height and the massive hangtime they were getting. I think if the wind was punchy or shifty at all there would have been no way we could have used kites that big.....probably would have tore us up

I'll have it covered from all angles, one in your kite and three on the buggy. Invert/HighFive
