You know, I am sure it is said once in a while, sometimes not enough, but I am so glad that I have the PKF!
Sometimes when life has you down, when the wind is not blowing, when your day is just not going right, I know that I can flip on the computer or
click it up on my phone and come to where I can forget about everything else and think about the only thing that matters to most on here, the WIND!
Although I only know some of you as a little picture to the left of your thread. I read your stories, watch your videos, and see all the pics that you
share with other total strangers. It kind of feels like old high school friends
Some of you I know from flying with you on the field, the beach or having met you at WBB! You guys are the ones that are like family to me. It is
your stories I come home and tell my family all about.
All in all, it is just nice to know that no matter what, I can come here and feel like I am home!

I was thinking last night how we don't have any of the haters on here now or for the last several months. (Knock on wood). You know who I'm talking

I enjoy the wealth of information that is posted on the website. I used to think this place was full of fickle people, but I have not seen those
personalities on here in a very long time.

Well, I could not agree more.
I have had a general detest for internet social stuff (it’s an information tool to me). Mostly for privacy reasons and the squeaky wheels (to be
kind). But as BeamerBob said, “We are a happy place here.” PKF represents a great group of people.
I would not know what I know or have what I have without this group. Collected 5 kites in 7 months without any indication that I purchased a mistake.
This was not based on my knowledge.
Then there is the entertainment value. Rip and Dino show (Et al.) - need I say more?
I really enjoy being able to discuss anything power kite related with a helpful group of people. I have also noticed that the involvement of dealers
and manufacturers gives this site a “well balanced feel”.
It's not one of those sports you really learn well or easily on your own... But, my son and I are enjoying every moment of it.
