from HQ "The name CAPRICORN is an early project name for the HQ Traction Quads. So in some Catalogs or on some websites you will find the name CAPRICORN."

that was said back in 2001
sounds like a really old model kite, but i dont really know

WIllardTheGrey - 6-5-2011 at 02:07 AM

yep that is all I can find aswell...

Interesting he says "new".

spork - 6-5-2011 at 03:59 AM

new probably means the condition,
might have been so bad, he flew it once, then put it away and never got it out for another 10 years...:P

Great looking kite no matter how old it is! I would buy it for $200 just because it's a good looking kite! Heck a little haggling, you could probably get it for $150!

It overlaps too much with my butane, but did I point him to this forum hopefuly he shows up. It is listed on the Oregon coast CL if any one wants it.
