Hey Alberta gang - wasn't there someone on the forum that is up around Slave Lake? Just watching the news about the big forest fire and high winds
that have swept the fire into the city of Slave Lake and looks like a lot of it is burning as they evacuated the city.
Hope all are safe in that area despite the loss of property etc.

Holy crap! I hadn't heard. We have friends up there but they are a good hour around the lake from the town proper. That's terrible! Time to flick on
the news I think.

Man I sure hope that they can get it put out fast. I think Wolfwolfee is from Smith Alberta, not sure if he's affected from this or not. Either way I
hope that everyone from that area are safe.

They are saying it will be easier to list what is left of the town than what is gone and still burning.
