Fun with the little guy

I got off work to a windy forecast for the evening, after eating some dinner I made my way to the park. The winds were hovering around 19mph with gusts upwards to 23mph. I decided to give my 6m access a try. The winds dropped while I was setting up; so wished I brought the speed2. After 20 minutes of pulling slow downwinders the winds rose to 20mph, and I was off. It really surprises me how easy the access is to fly. A real zippy little kite, it likes to be worked to unlock some power. The comfort comes when you have to fidget with setting straps or even getting your feet in the board; far different from what I've been experiencing with my speed 2 (our gusty crap causes it to dance a lot while at zenith, you can't really stand still too long.) I was able to get in some nice runs, where I could lean back on the kite, and let the kite pull me along. Speed wobble became a factor on several occasions, but I was able to ride them out quite well. I could have managed a bigger kite, but in some ways I'm glad I didn't, so that I could focus a bit on stance and direction changes. I'm definitely no Carl The Bullet, but my skills are getting better. I'm trying to work through the 2hrs of video that isn't really that exciting, will post when I have it cut. Thanks for sharing the stoke!!!!

edit: I mentioned a few weeks back that I was gonna try a parapack with the lines of my access, but I forgot all about it till this morning....My bad:no:
