How to wear the Peter Lynn Seat Harness

pbc - 28-5-2011 at 08:16 PM

I can't figure out if I am an innovator or just late to the party. At JIBE last week I learned a new way to wear the Peter Lynn Seat Harness. Instead of hooking the left side strap to the left side clip and the right to the right, I crossed the straps so the left strap routed to the right clip and vice versa.

This made the straps cross between my legs. It kept the harness from riding up while preventing the leg pinching problems that plagued me the two previous days. It was really quite comfy.

Cross the straps. It's guaranteed to not result in every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.

Which harness were you using? Base, Radical, or Divine?

I can see where this would be the problem with the Divine if you were wearing it to high. The thing that was pointed out to me by Rip, was the Divine was designed to ride low with the spreader bar near the waist when you were standing.

Either way glad you found a way to make your harness comfy.

None of the above. I'm using the older PL seat harness featured at http://www.windpowersports.com/accessories/harness/peter-lyn...

It's not the first mod I've made to the harness. Looking at the pictures of the divine I can see more opportunity. Anything that can hold the harness and the bar down is a good thing.
