Today is the anniversary of the Allied invasion of Nazi occupied Europe on June 6th, 1944. In just a few days, as many soldiers died as have been lost
in 10 years of fighting in the Middle East. Please do not forget the young men who put forth the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that we live the safe
and secure life which we do today. Thank you.

Thanks Don. I wanted to just keep it short and sweet, to remind everyone why America is the land of the free and the home of the brave. Freedom comes
at an enormous cost, and nobody should forget the events that occurred on this day in history. War is a necessary evil, and our veterans need to be
appreciated.

i don't agree that war is a necessary anything...not an answer. i did my time in the worlds largest canoe club. i strongly encourage all able bodied
men to give a couple years of their life to military service. you will learn things that can only be learned while serviing.
