So I'm the new owner of a Boss and a Smoke but I've always owned Flysurfers so I'm not real sure about the self launch/land on these inflatables. Can
any of you Wainman owners help a brother out?

best way to reply so i can type less.
this method works on beach too, because they are delta shaped they relaunch super easy.
to self land, get the kite to push far to the extreme edge, walk forward and push the bar out.tridude - 8-6-2011 at 07:59 PM
first thing whether you self launch or not ALWAYS setup with your bar and lines behind the kite.......remember to place your bar/lines backwards
since your behind the kite........after youre set up and ready to launch pull the downwind tip a bit in the wind. You will know when you have it right
as the wind will catch the tip and raise your strut. Hook in, walk up wind, spin your bar (its backwards remember).......... keep walking upwind and
as your downwind lines tighten the kite will move into the window on the leading edge.........with the bar out tweek left ot right shell go up on the
edge and then airborn.....be ready cause she is fast.............
to self land fly the kite down to the windows edge, tip will sit on the ground, bar out, grab the top front line and pull..................kite will
fall LE down, into the wind..............
great kite, fast with power. Recommend middle settings on the LE and always use the top knot on your rear lines (if you have the Wainman bar)......Id
go with the pulley set up prior to no pullies on the LE bridal. Set up instructions for the bridal are in the owners manual.............clintopher - 9-6-2011 at 05:02 PM
