in the crew everyone has a position, in Dino's case he's the team KB (catcher). every so often he comes out to take pics of me sitting in no wind for the photo books. :P

That was a beautiful video if I might say so. It must be so easy to get rolling ing that stuff. I gotta get out to one of these event and experience it myself one day. One question.....all the cracks on the ground, can they be bumpy???? I'm assuming they are small not to notice, but sometimes they look a bit bigger?????

How rough the playa is changes from area to area and year to year. It is on ATB and Blades that it is more noticable.

2 years ago it was so rough I ended up with " black toe " from the constant hammer in the boot. This year it was super smooth over by the highway roughest right around camp.

I can probably be good for a trip to the playa if the temps aren't too high. We are 108- 105 Wednesday Thursday this week. I've found that anything under 105 is tolerable, but above that is not real comfortable to be outside. 85 and below, you don't need the AC in the car. Lets keep an eye on the weather. There is a half moon by your second weekend, so an evening run might be easier.
