Buggy Rental ?

Guru Saj - 18-6-2011 at 07:35 AM

Hey !

Someone at work sent me a link to NABX a few days ago, and I'm now spending most of my work time thinking about getting there someday. I can only imagine how good it must be spending all that time in the buggy.

I'm on a small island between England and Ireland, where there's miles of beach and good wind most days, but it makes it a little difficult to think about getting a buggy to NABX on the other side of the world.

My question is, does anyone rent buggies to NABX attendees ?

This year a lot of the guys just let people take out their buggy when they weren't riding. There's always buggies sitting around so I don't think that would be a problem

i HAD AN EXTRA, ONLY GOT USED ONCE?

NABX is a non-commercial event and so I suspect that buggy rentals would be against the rules but a loaner is easy to find.

It is an amazing event where you will find most people willing to go out of their way to help you out.

If you can make it next year just post up on this forum ahead and I am sure someone will make sure you are covered.

At NABX, there's always someone kind enough to help a fella out. Great bunch of people by any standard of measure.

I plan on bringing the Flexi buggy as well as Chuckawalla Rock-It 2.0. Bring a bottle of Maker's Mark to share and you can roll the wheels off of Scout buggy.

I think blade would let anyone ride his ivanpah just to get some miles on it!

As an added extra thrown into the mix.

My PL buggy sale fell thru, so said bug will be at BEAVERS for all and sundry to use.

So hopefully will be there in 2012, if not first in best dressed.

Hey Greasehopper when you get that bottle, let me know I will help you drink it.

We can talk and laugh allday. :singing:

That's a must Glenn, hope to see ya there. I'll start doing crunches now so the pain of 4 straight hours of belly laughs won't be so painful.

talk with Kent or Corey as they are the local shops down there who should have extra demo buggies kicking around.

there is also a BaSiXX thats kicking around too.

the bottom line is there is always something laying around camp, just ask.

Dino doesnt ride much so his ApeXX is available.

I shipped a buggy there this year from the UK...total cost about £150.00, but like has been said, there are always plenty of buggies not being used, but there is nothing quite like being in your own is there.

I had 4 buggies there at NABX as loaners if anyone needed one. Only one was loan out and I used one occassionally so there was 2 buggy just sitting there.

I plan to bring atleast 4 to the 2012 event so those that can't bring theirs can have a buggy to use. Its the least I can do to give back to the buggy community.
