Rain, Rain, GO AWAY!!!!

macboy - 19-6-2011 at 08:59 PM

So I snuck in a "Hurry before the sun goes down" flight with my friend's son last night who's been dying to get out in real wind with his new Cool for the first time so I grabbed the Frenzy to fly with him. Well, we got about 15 minutes and the rain hit us. Packed up in a panic and hit the "dry cycle" today.

But it keeps raining.

Nearly dry......and then it rains. I swear I checked the Frenzy like 10 minutes before this pic was taken and told myself' "Another hour and it'll be done.....perfect timing!"

Then the clouds burst again......

Same thing happened Wed with the Venom....took two day's worth of attempts to get it dry

I know how you feel. Rained all weekend. Got out on Friday after picking the kid up from school. Lasted a good two hours 1hr of it was drizzle. Just as I was wrapping the lines, it started to pour. My sp2 was drenched. Laid it out in the basement with a fan keeping it inflated, and it still took 2 days to dry completely.

Happy to report that the Cool came out of the garage, back into it's bag and home to it's owner and the Frenzy got hung on the makeshift indoor line. Should be dry by morning.......Wednesday

Been raining here for like four days straight. Low pressure system just hovering over WI. Can't hardly find a time to get the grass cut, let alone fly. Just got my Scorpion in the mail, dying to get out and play. Starting to lose patience.

Hey Drew I think we got 3" today and going to rain the next 3-4 days. Over 8" in the past couple weeks. My fault though, I set up the water drip line system for the 1/2 acre garden almost 3 days after work to get it all set up and it started raining!!

Managed to get the lawn cut Tuesday afternoon before the rain returned. Now I'm in Phoenix where it's 112F during the day and 85F at night. In the pool up to my neck....pass me a beer!!!

*Envy*

You pack some kites down there with you or just the clubs?

Vince H. - 24-6-2011 at 07:04 AM

Just clubs.

But I am buggying.

Sort of!
