Hey all.
I got an MBS 16 from ebay, in pretty good condition. It was used for downhill boarding by the seller. Today was the first time I was able to give it a
shot on the beach with a kite attached. Of course I was a bit nervous, and basically kept getting pulled off the board instead of actually rolling
anywhere. I am comfortable with the kite, but trying to balance against the fluctuating traction as the kite swings across the wind window freaked me
out a bit. Practice Practice Practice.
Anyway, saw some boards designed specifically for use with a kite, and noticed that the bindings are positioned in such a way where the feet are
pointing outward. My board came with the bindings pretty much pointing straight forward. I was wondering if having the bindings rotated outward would
make it any easier to balance/resist the pulling from the kite than the way that they are now. Is there any rule of thumb for this sort of thing, or
is it strictly a matter of rider preference and comfort?
Thanks for the thoughts.

Your feet should be pointed a bit out on the core 16. It should be fine. The only thing about the kite specific boards is that you cant ride them
downhill because your weight is not centered. You will constantly be trying to ride a curve toward your heels. The straps may look like they point
the feet out, but they really dont that much.
