Great video. But over a minute of intro?...

indigo_wolf - 3-7-2011 at 07:45 PM

That's what jumping ahead is for

Actually given the aerial and OBE count, I am more put off by the segments without helmets.

ATB,
Sam

ripsessionkites - 4-7-2011 at 01:36 AM

at least no dogs were injured.

rocfighter - 4-7-2011 at 04:34 AM

The highlight was the high five in the intro. Dude we chucked them buggies damn good!! But very cool video and great place to ride. And helmets would have been good.

Bladerunner - 4-7-2011 at 06:43 AM

That was almost 1/2 the video introducing themselves when you include the credits at the end ? :ticking:

Can we get away with dune bashing like that at Sunset?

cheezycheese - 4-7-2011 at 08:12 AM

How do they get the buggies airborne without seatbelt...?:dunno::dunno:

Curved side rails, like the Xxtreme ApeXX (the original concept)

you will see at WWBB.

cheezycheese - 4-7-2011 at 09:30 AM

So they lock in by spreading their legs...?

your already "locked in" when you seat. when you boost you push on your footpegs.

Improved sidebars of nowadays racebuggies!
And a strong lightweight buggy!

mougl - 4-7-2011 at 12:04 PM

Cool footage, just a bit disturbed with the lack of helmets.

... and the dune riding

not the best way to promote the sport in any country. more on this at BCH, Vliegerforum, GPA, Alienbuggy.

wear a helmet as I cant say the same for some locally here. NAPKA or not, its just common sense.

no helmet - no film

Bladerunner - 5-7-2011 at 05:39 AM

I was kind of wondering about the dunes damaged in filming this video ? Is this common practice? I don't think we would be welcome doing that ?

I have seen a fellow crack his head open being launched and then hitting his head on the back rail / axle in the dunes. Even on sand helmets are a good idea.

Are you sure this is the image MG wants to present? It caught my attention but not exactly in a good way?

Drewculous - 5-7-2011 at 08:57 AM

Lol it got pulled!
I missed it!

thx to racing numbers we know who it was, but than again its not that hard when most know who the riders are.

GPA, BCH (governing kitesport bodies) took actions quickly (movie has been removed). Each euro beach has different rules and each pilot who uses them know the rules. things are organized over there for sure, now its our time to shine.
I say the same here too, when visiting other locations know their rules. its their backyard listen to them.

MG-kites - 5-7-2011 at 10:25 AM

The owners M&S removed the movie themselves.
