I got my MBS Comp 16 last night from Scoopy and I was dying to try it out. So I sneaked out at lunch for a quick session!
The winds were only 9 mph, so I used the 6.6 Blade on handles without a harness. Here are a few of my first impressions and mistakes:
The rolling resistance is much greater than my old Dirtsurfer (20" wheels vs 8" wheels on the MBS). I got up some speed, but the soccer fields were a
bit rough.
You can get airborne much easier with the mountainboard! I was able to pop a few little airs (180 once) with the kite directly overhead.
Keeping the bindings loose saved me a few times when I got "plucked" off the board. I had them tight at first...not a good idea.
I ended up way down wind from my starting point and I had to do the "walk of shame" back to my truck.
All in all, it was a blast!
Lots to learn now....

Honestly, you probably didnt have enough wind to stay upwind with the 6.6 in 9mph.

I went out again today - the winds were 10 mph and gusty.
I think a harness may help me in getting more power to the board. I got yanked off a few times when I hit a gust of wind.
I also tried riding in a paved parking lot behind the Blade- way too fast! :o
I went back to the grass field right after that...
