Flysurfer Pulse2 8m for sale

Guys, I am selling my Flysurfer Pulse2 8m, because for my size (:-) is really small. I am now flying a Pulse2 14m instead. This one is small for me, however I am very heavy guy - it may not be for you.... or if you really want to learn this is a great stable kite to do so.

The kite is in great conditions. The lines are good, however the bar is not the original one - oZone i think, but may be wrong :-)

I am waiting for some offers because I am not sure how much to ask (I need to check with my friend - he is an expert in these things) and i will update the post.

Please send me an email if you are interested or U2U - also see pictures below.

masu - 21-7-2011 at 05:42 AM

should I drop the price to $500?

Also, who knows if ebay is a better market?
I purchased my first flexifoil rage on ebay....

Thx

masu - 22-7-2011 at 09:45 AM

Ok - priced dropped to $500 !

macboy - 22-7-2011 at 11:57 AM

I'd say hang in there before going to eBay. There are a couple other forums you could post on as well where it might move. One is pretty Flysurfer-active and the other is hit and miss with foils. This is a great price and if I had not just done the big shakeup to LEIs I'd have snapped this up for sure.

43patrick - 22-7-2011 at 02:28 PM

If I had not just had MY kiteboard stolen out if my car I would buy it. I have been looking for a foil to complement my 12m ranger for snow. If you are in no hurry let me know this fall the price seems more than fair!!

tridude - 22-7-2011 at 03:03 PM

yep hang in there, maybe give foilzone a shot................FSer has their replacement for the Pulse (Infinity/Unity or whatever it is) on the market but the Pulse/Pulse 2s are proven............price is right on as well....................If I didnt have a 6m P2 Id snatch it up..........................love my 6m though...............great buggy and water kites..........................Im sure equally as good on frozen H20

furbowski - 23-7-2011 at 12:30 AM

I've almost pulled the trigger on this puppy, sure I'm not the only one. No more price drops, No more E-bay. Just be patient.

Did you not contact John at powerzone? He has a good list of people looking for flysurfer kites and various sizes and models. Check him if U have not done so, eh?

masu - 23-7-2011 at 06:47 AM

Thank you all for all advices - I will stay patience.

Bladerunner - 23-7-2011 at 07:47 AM

I am amazed this hasn't sold as well. Extremely good price.

I have been curious how the kite ended up without the original bar?

Um, let me see. FS kite with an Ozone bar.... did you get this from Kami?

seriously. good price I would think this would go before the Neo 8m for the same price. Good wind range on land on this kite as long as you don't weigh too much. Can't beat FS quality either.

masu - 23-7-2011 at 06:19 PM

@stetson05
NO - I did not purchased this kite from Kami (in fact i do not know Kami at all)

@Bladerunner
I purchased this kite almost new and it came with infinity bar that I removed and put it on my Pulse2 14m.
The bar from my 14m it is now on the Pulse2 8m kite.
My size requires 14m instead of 8m. I am not able to play much with this mint condition kite.

masu - 28-7-2011 at 08:27 PM

nothing yet - no more love for flysurfer pulse2?

stetson05 - 28-7-2011 at 08:49 PM

for some reason there is a magic price for every kite. I am not sure what it is for a pulse 2. It must say if you don't buy me the next one that looks will because the price is never this low. I am not saying that you should lower your price because the kite isn't worth it. I am sure it is it just isn't I am kicking myself for not buying it low. I am sure that someone who understands the value of the kite will come along and buy it. Good Luck

acartier1981 - 28-7-2011 at 09:31 PM

Do you have this posted on foilzone, ikite, and kiteforum?????

masu - 30-7-2011 at 10:43 AM

@acartier1981
nope - I only posted here.... not familiar with other sites.... do yo think will make a difference?

@stetson05
I understand and I agree with you - It's funny when I was looking to buy one was rare and expensive, now because I want to sell it is everywhere and cheap.....
Perhaps I will just keep it and play with it .....

Unbelievable - I went to FedEx and tried to ship it, but they asked me for $90 with insurance ....went to UPS and they asked me for $78. I have another attempt with USPS on Monday....
Does anybody knows how to ship a Pulse2 8m within states and cheap?

Should I buy insurance? What can go wrong if I pack it very well?

bigkahuna - 7-8-2011 at 05:04 PM

USPS is notorious for loosing things, but it's the cheapest way to go. If you ship USPS be sure to insure it and ship it Priority Mail. Also use delivery confirmation if you got paid by PayPal. I've been told that USPS requires you provide your original invoice when you file a claim, so be sure you have one before you ship it. They've lost about 1 in 10 of my packages so far.

I've never had a problem with UPS. Open a business account to get a better rate.

Fedex lost one package on me (they delivered it to the wrong address) in 10+ years, filed a claim and got paid immediately. Same as UPS, open a business account and you'll get much better rates.

sk8board - 7-8-2011 at 06:48 PM

I recently shipped a 10m from Michigan to New York for $23 with insurance via FedEx. I dropped-off my boxed kite at Kinkos and FedEx took it from there.

$90 is like shipping it to Europe. Are you sure they were shipping ground?

I have no idea, I shipped two kites in the same box 3000 miles and it was only $48..

Kober - 7-8-2011 at 07:14 PM

I am shipping hundreds of items every year .....
USPS is cheapest in most cases .... and after few thausends of packages shipped non of them was missing ....
I am using UPS only for oversized items that USPS will not accept ..... rate that you get at local UPS store will be way higher then if you have open account with them .......
USPS is way to go .....

bigkahuna - 7-8-2011 at 11:33 PM

"USPS is cheapest in most cases .... and after few thausends of packages shipped non of them was missing ...."

Consider yourself lucky. I've found that not adding insurance and delivery confirmation just about guarantees the package will get lost.

masu - 8-8-2011 at 12:46 PM

Thank you all for all the advises - I was able to use my mail department from my company - they have a different negotiated decent rate - The kite is sold to g00fba11 - thank you.
