Great low wind kite. I just don't get the low winds for this kite where I live to warrant keeping this in my quiver.
And it's starting to give me attitude. And we know what happens when a kite starts giving me attitude. Just ask the yak I use to have. :tumble:

Sweet deal, good luck on the sale!

mougl - 21-7-2011 at 09:00 PM

Low on cash or I'd own it lol

csa_deadon - 22-7-2011 at 06:33 PM

So it's begins. So this goofy 10.8 has now started chasing the dog through the house yelling "Feed me!". Kite vs. Dog i would choose the kite, but the wife likes the dog more. Since the wife is involved in the new kite talks, buggy vacation, etc I have to side with her. I don't know how long the bedroom door will protect the dog. If you love dogs as much as my wife, please do this animal a favor.

maybe not a good time to ask if you want to go rip up Sunset tomorrow morning, um or all day maybe......
I'll buy coffee

and bytheway....
I know you know I know want a big kite

csa_deadon - 22-7-2011 at 08:27 PM

I would love to head up to Sunset, however today starts my 7 day stretch at work. Maybe next weekend.

csa_deadon - 24-7-2011 at 08:19 PM

Will have pics up by Tuesday afternoon. That's the drawback of working nights.

Just to update everyone on the situation. The door is holding so far. The dog is trying to figure out a way to use the kites bridal lines against it. Whenever the dog hears the rattle of material at the door she will cower under the bed and whine while the kite lets loose with a demonic laugh. This is getting out of hand people. Show your love of dogs and find this kite a new home!

So, as you can see I let thr damb thing out yesturday for a brief photo shoot.
I have to say when it started trying on bikinis and said something about the SI swimsuit cover i started to get a little confussed. It wasn't till i mentioned the "she" could be used to make enough bikinis for a small all girls school that things went south. I git beat over the head with my camera and wacked in the knee caps with the handles. Last thing i noticed as the dog and i took cover in the bedroom was the kite was working on what looked like a dead fall trap. Some one save us!

csa_deadon - 28-7-2011 at 02:03 AM

Price dropped to $475.00

arkay - 28-7-2011 at 09:18 AM

Your purchase could be what turns things around. :spin:

shehatesmyhobbies - 30-7-2011 at 11:51 AM

Great kite folks! Got me going on grass in a sneeze! Don't miss out! You want a low wind kite, this is it!

csa_deadon - 4-8-2011 at 01:17 PM

All right this is getting out of hand. Last night the &^(#$! kite got in to my dark rum that was going to head up to SOBB with me.
Before I could stop it, it had drank over half the rum, down loaded a bunch of Red Neck Rap Dub Step Punk Rock on Itunes!

I can't let this go on any further guys. The neighbors are complaining, animal control took my dog in to protective custody.
Who is going to help a guy out. The wife doesn't know about the dog yet. I keep telling her that she's digging a hole in the back yard, and even showed
my wife a copy of a bogus building permit so she wouldn't get suspicious.

Price dropped and includes shipping now to lower 48.

Come on help a guy out.

How is this still here?!?!?!

BeamerBob - 5-8-2011 at 03:30 PM

You are at the magic price now! How many people find themselves having prepared for a kite event, traveled there on your day off or more, got it all to the ride spot and ....................... gnats blowing around in your face. If you can feel the breeze on your face, this kite will save the day so you can buggy. It multiplies the speed very well too along with upwind like crazy.

Morrie Williams - 5-8-2011 at 04:17 PM

I can't afford to, I just bought another kite! Besides it's the wrong color.

Feyd - 5-8-2011 at 05:23 PM

Red Neck Rap Dub Step Punk Rock. Holy hell.:(

WELDNGOD - 5-8-2011 at 07:04 PM

c'mon folks ,if you can get it snatched up,inflated some and turned to horizontal then jump on a board or buggy. It will fly on it's own apparent wind speed. You got next to no wind, here's your engine. Just takes a little skill. Bump for a great low wind buggy engine:thumbup::thumbup:

Sent you an email... am interested to know what you or any of the other experienced kiting veterans on here think about this kite for use with a landboard on those super low wind days. Most people talk about Reactors in terms of it being a great "buggy engine" (including the PL site), but unfortunately, I don't own a buggy and am really not sure I have the room needed to use one where I normally fly. Thanks in advance for any info anyone cares to share regarding using a big Reactor with a landboard.

csa_deadon - 6-8-2011 at 12:20 AM

Looking at your quiver in your sig, I would say that you would not be happy having this in your quiver. But that's me. The Frenzy should get moving in 5mph. I'm sure some of the board riders will be able to give you better input about that.

KsKiteAddict - 6-8-2011 at 01:08 AM

Thank you for an honest answer that may not totally help your kite's need of finding a new home. I appreciate that.

csa_deadon - 6-8-2011 at 01:34 AM

I've seen a few people board with fixed bridal but they have been doing it for years.
The HQ kites, and your Ozone is a nice quiver for land boarding. But then again there is a reason why I ride a buggy and not a board. Harder for me to get hurt if I'm sitting.

KsKiteAddict - 6-8-2011 at 02:11 AM

I totally relate to what you are saying and if I had a choice right now, I would be riding in a buggy too, but it's kind of a choice between boarding on grass or no motion at all, so I choose to go the board route. I learned to ride the board somewhat with my fixed bridle kites and am now trying to transition into using the depower kites because I think they are a bit safer with the board. Someday, I hope to move somewhere so that I can buggy on long stretches of sandy beaches. Until then, I will try to do the best with what I have in terms of environment. Haven't totally given up on your kite though... there is still just some unexplainable attraction to big fixed bridles I seem to have, but I am old enough to know when to pack them away and not push my luck on that particular day.

WELDNGOD - 6-8-2011 at 06:52 AM

I only fly FBs ,and I board ,buggy and kytbyk. This is me and a 8.6m reactorII.
