So Friday was a good day for west wind at Southwick. A bit light at less than or up to 10 mph, or so. I flew the 7M NPW9, and had a blast! Here's
some video of the fun. Camera was the Tachyon XC Micro helmet cam, Music is by Roomful of Blues, That's my life. acmbarber - 24-7-2011 at 11:40 AM
Looks like you are dodging trees on that beach on that really tight beach. It gives me hope that I might find somewhere to try something more than
static flying where I live.rocfighter - 24-7-2011 at 12:52 PM
Very nice Bob. Here the only time the wind blows is when I am at work. Plus it's been 90+ for the last week and no wind So I'm jelous of your 10mphlabrat - 24-7-2011 at 12:59 PM
I don’t think I’ve commented on the music threads here, I like what I like. But for that video, WELDNGOD - 24-7-2011 at 01:42 PM
Not bad for a "rag flapper"! Will we see ya in Oct.?bobalooie57 - 24-7-2011 at 06:46 PM
@acmb, the"best kept secret" in the east, that beach has been in past years, twice as wide as it is now! It can be a challenge, but ya gotta work
with what ya got!
@roc- ya, it was about 88deg F, with that light west breeze. Don't know if you could see, but going low around the piece of driftwood would get me a
nice soaking! FUN!!
@labrat, Roomful of Blues, a Providence,RI club band, some of the best toe tappin' ever. Was reminded of them when indigowolf posted a link to an
online jam with them in NH last weekend, and was reminded of hearing them in the '70's at Misquamicut Beach, they still rock, although with new faces.
@WELDNGOD, ya, but a real purty "rag" it is! If all works out, I'll be there!snowspider - 25-7-2011 at 08:10 AM
The beach looks a whole lot better than it did the last time. Nice vid Bob.
