Just wanted to toss out a big thank you to Angus for stopping by the beach at Jekyll Island today.
I learned so much from him in a short time. I wish a had more time to pick his brain.
I am so glad he is a patient guy. After getting my buggy a couple months ago I finally had my ah ha moment thanks to Angus. Still a lot of work
to do but it would have taken so much longer on my own. Buggies are a whole different animal than a snowboard. But then again I may be doing that
all wrong. I think I taught myself lots of bad flying habits....... Hopefully Angus will release a how to buggy video!!!
We are packing up and heading out to the Smokey's. This was my last day on the beach for this trip.
I will up load some of the shorter videos I got and posting them as soon as they are done.
I love flying with my boys, but it was so great to fly with someone who truly knows what they are doing.
Also thanks to Angus we got our ah ha moment with the arcs. From talking with Angus I think most of our issues were with the crap wind we were
trying to fly in and the other is getting things set up correctly between our Griffin bar and the pigtails.
Angus was also gracious enough to let me take a poke at his 18m Phantom in his buggy. It was awesome flying that kite.... unreal..... big smile....
the only downside I was soooo scared I would screw up and crash
his phanny I didn't really take advantage of the opportunity Angus gave me.
I will post some of this video as it turned out quite hilarious..... wait to you see my special buggy engine.......
Anyway.... THANKS AGAIN ANGUS!!!!!!

Rich... the 18m Phantom is now on my "to hunt down" list. After flying his all I can say is wow...... I definitely have to rethink where I was
heading with my quiver.
I am really down the d'arc side now..... just really needed that ah ha moment and Angus provided that......
I also hope to fly with Angus again someday. Just a fantastic guy....... Hopefully I didn't drive him to crazy.....mougl - 29-7-2011 at 04:10 PM
