Why don't you try at some Kiteboarding shops.

"most" forums are location based... so you'll want to find a forum that likely serves your area. local shops are a good choice, craigslist, post on
every forum you find...

General stuff (based on location): PKF, kitebookie.com, extremekites.com.au, kitecrowd.com
LEI: ikitesurf.com
Flysurfers: foilzone.com
Single Lines, Dual-lines, Revs: gwtwforum.com, fracturedaxel.co.uk

What size LEI, what year, what's included? I'm looking for a 12m, 2008 or newer, RTF...

Ditto on selling it here. I've had the best luck with kites I've bought and sold here. Although I've not had any problems with iKitesurf.com, I know
people who have.

HERE is a good spot.
i have bought a ton of used stuff from all over.
Really the biggest factor is YOUR ability to asses things, educate yourself and know what to look for and confidence of the other party. CURRENT
PICS, with alot of detail!
the safest is local and test it, fly it. i lend out gear freely locally all the time. mostly boards and some kites. i would rather help a flier
out rather than squabble over scratches and crap.
ebay/paypal. some risk there, but i have not lost any $ over any bad deals. i think macboy and i shared a deal gone bad over some phantoms from
"some guys friend" thing while in jail. solid system and works. KNOW WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING AT, AGE USE AND WEAR.
ikitesurf more risky but good correspondence strengthen confidence( QUESTION/ANSWER/REPLY/PICS>>>> in timely fashion. i have had no
problems there.
good luck.

There is a good market right in front of you on this site and most people are serious buyers not tire kickers which is what I notice about this
site...
btw im looking for a 7-8m SLE and have money in hand for it

I've actually had my best results selling locally on Craigslist, in the last year or so I have sold 10 kites and 3 boards and one buggy, it broke down
like this:
3 trainers - all Craigslist
2 LEI's - also Craigslist
1 Depower foil - Kiteforum
2 Depower Foils - Here (PKF)
1 more Depower Foil = Also PKF
1 more LEI - ikitesurf
All 3 boards - Craigslist
Buggy - PKF
As a buyer, I buy mostly used and demo gear because I'm cheap.
Trainer - kite shop (display)
Trainer - kite shop (NEW)
Trainer - Ebay
Depower Foil - online sport shop (NEW, closeout)
Depower Foil - HQ (demo)
Depower Foil - Amazon
Depower Foil - Kite Shop (demo)
Depower Foil - kite shop (demo)
Depower Foil - Kiteforum
1 LEI - NWkite
2 LEI's - Craigslist
1 LEI - ikitesurf
1 LEI - Ebay
1 LEI - Kite Shop
1 more LEI - Craigslist
Boards:
1 - Ebay
1 - Craigslist
2 - ikitesurf
1 - kite shop (New, closeout)
Buggy - Craigslist
Hope that helps. Chris

Not sure where your located, but if near the north west usa then look at:
www.nwkite.com which sounds like it caters to most kiters on the oregon coast.
Looks to be very LEI biased buy/sell kind of place.
