Well this is what you get when you help out a friend in a foreign country... paid in food....!!! :puzzled::wow::smilegrin:
a box of Japanese Scooby snacks... :o

7 & i ...? :dunno:

Kami, what the heck is this stuff...? The Chew-eez they sell here in the states in the gourmet delis in NYC they are like $2
a pack. i like those... wouldn't dare to eat any of the other stuff. My son wanted the chew-eez, but I told him he HAD to sample everything in the box first... what a laugh !!! he actually liked the snausages, but that fish bacon/jerky stuff sent him runnin...:smilegrin::smilegrin:

please translate to engrish what this stuff is...

Har har :D I did warn you  thanks for you help dude :bigok: I was going to give you some beer/petrol money but you had me pay the other guy directly

From the top, L to R ... dried shredded squid, mini-salamis, bamboo-root-shaped chocolate-coated cookies, wasabi-flavoured seaweed, seaweed-wrapped rice-cracker sticks, 7-11 (and i-Holdings) brand deep-fried chicken knuckles and Hai-chu (grape and grapefruit IIRC) ... kind of a chewy candy, you got it!

I eat them all, quite happily. Man, I love dried-seaweed - the thin sheets of it are so good, like potato chips/crisps ... I eat them by the packet full! Squid-jerky is pretty good too, goes well with beer :D

Enjoy! :D

What a cool gift pack! I'd give it all a try... Except perhaps the deep-fried chicken knuckles. Bet my golden retriever would like those, though.

I'm a huge fan of dried squid, spicy and non spicy.

I wasn't sure Pocky would have survived the trip - better no Pocky than ruin the experience with melted nastiness :D ... and I couldn't find Men's Pocky anyway

You coming over in October, Ric?! :singing:
