So I was in PDX on Friday and was coming down to the coast, got in around 6. I pull up to the beach to snap a few pictures and there's a TON of kites out. I notice two flysurfers out! Rare to see anything except slingshot rev's :p So I was pretty excited to get to watch those fly.

Today I saw them again! I was out buggying with the kids in tow in the early afternoon in 19/24 on the rage but didn't get out on the water til about 4 on my 9m flexi (was well underpowered in the buggy and on water). Had a good few runs and milked it til the wind gave out. I saw one of the guys rolling up his flysurfer and my wife came over to help me out and mentioned he was with a friend named John.

... so the light bulb went off, and I went over to say hi! Super, super nice guys both John and Josh! I told him about the issue with my p10 and he was happy to help out. He was on his way back up the coast but be spent a lot time with me in surgery on the kite to make sure it was good to go. We ran into a few speed bumps but he was in until the job was done.

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed meeting John and Josh and how they help me with the p10. I'm extremely appreciative! Great ambassadors for flysurfer!! So, again a huge thank you! I donated some ninkasi seasonals to their roadtrip but it hardly seems like enough

Hopefully I'll make it up to bellingham one of these days...

My first mixer test, the A was way longer so the B needed to be lengthened (and the C to compensate) but there wasn't enough line length left on the B! Wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong or not, John set me straight. Also we stretched out the ring lines, moved the line extensions/ELC's to the right place and patched an LCL issue.
