There are a couple of really nice buggies on the kitebookie.com website. You may want to check those out.
I also have new ones in stock.

Tib has an XR+ for sale. I think he is asking $375...
ChrisH - 4-8-2011 at 11:08 PM
Does Tib have a thread in the for sale section somewhere for his XR+? Not seeing it if so. Thanks

Thanks, sent him a U2U. Out of curiousity, about how much does it cost to ship an XR+? Thanks

if you live in OR and visit the beaches. I'm going to suggest that you put down a few more bucks and get a BF instead.
you'll be 110% on the beach on low / high tide and when the winds aren't perfect on-shore to ride the dunes.
the different between the XR and the BF is longer side rails, long rear axle and a kinked down tube.
dunno how much space we have in the trailer at the time, but we could loan you one, but seriously meet up with the Crew of OR.

csa, I was just talking to sand flea about meeting up at Sunset Beach sometime so he could show me the ropes in buggying. He didn't mention an XR+ for
sale, or hasn't yet. I'll hit 'em up. Thanks
rip....I know, I should just sell something and get the BF. I fly on grass mostly, though. I was thinking that if I had the BF I would have to get
some extra wides for the grass. I'm not sure how those BF tires are in grass, though. They could be fine for all I know. The XR+ with extra wides
wouldn't be ok for the beach? Thanks for the offer to loan me one but I really like to have my own gear so I can be self sufficient. I really
appreciate the offer, though!
Anybody have an estimated shipping cost for an XR+?
ripsessionkites - 5-8-2011 at 11:12 AM
midi tires / barrow tires would okay on low tide. also if you went with a XR+ and wanted BF later you would need to get a new dowtube and fork. going
BF gives you the options to go backwards. driving with a XR+ on BF tires is a little too close to your elbows.
BF have no issues on grass UNLESS its wet, but than you could do your own grooving.
if you want new, Kitebuggy Speed Shop (OR) and Ocean Shore Kites (WA) would be the closest to you (pick up), and another option is Dakitez (CA).
i have no clue how close you are to the beach, but once you're beach riding. its worth the drive than riding in some park. IMO.
;-)

Can I put extra wides on a BF? By grooving, do you mean tire siping? I'm about 2 1/2 hours from any good beach spots for buggying. Lincoln City is
only 1 1/2 hours but the wind is hardly ever right there. Seems to blow straight up or down the beach. Maybe there's better spots in that area, I
don't know. I'll definitely check it out, though! Another thing I just thought of....will a BF fit in my car? I have a small car that is comparable in
size to a VW Rabbit.

Hi Guys,
my Son rides that buggy, sorry, I appreciate you thinking of me though.
Jon Ellis is tremendous. I am extremely happy I bought my buggy from him, and he even delivered it.
I will be at the beach every weekend if it is somewhat dry and all week for SOBB! YEHAW!
Lets meet sometime soon and meet up with the rest of the Sunset Beach Bums. Also, Jon Ellis lives less than two blocks from the beach.
If you are ever in PDX and want to talk buggies, come on by.
Come fly with me!
