Big Wing

csa_deadon - 11-8-2011 at 01:19 AM

Nough said!

DAKITEZ - 11-8-2011 at 01:27 AM

how big is big? Little Ricky might consider himself big, but at 4'11" and 85lbs I consider him extra little (one step below extra small). You do know he shops in the little boys section to buy clothes right?

Sorry for the hijack ... I just like to take an opportunity when I get one.

ripsessionkites - 11-8-2011 at 02:58 AM

there is only one, the same one i use (for the little guys like me) : Vapor 16.1m

i have no come back its 300am

Kamikuza - 11-8-2011 at 05:01 AM

4 FOOT? That's like ... a Hobbit is it not?

csa_deadon - 11-8-2011 at 05:25 AM

But hobbits aren't as grumpy as rip at 8 am!!

Kamikuza - 11-8-2011 at 05:31 AM

Drewculous - 11-8-2011 at 05:41 AM

I confused.... Arent you selling a big wing? :dunno:

I like rips idea tho.... 16m vapor ftw!

Bladerunner - 11-8-2011 at 06:28 AM

I can sell you an as new 10.8 ReactorII for only $600 . I'll even deliver to SOBB

Drewculous - 11-8-2011 at 06:30 AM

AHAHAHAHA!!!!

csa_deadon - 11-8-2011 at 08:18 AM

@ drew.... Selling MEDIUM wing

@ blade.... You are soooo helpful! NOT!

arkay - 11-8-2011 at 10:13 AM

we've been having stretches of 20+ up north... SOBB will likely be a round robin combo of 0, 7-10 and 20-25

ripsessionkites - 11-8-2011 at 10:18 AM

I'm thinking the same wind range as Bill

0 - sit / sleep / eat / drink
7 - 10 : Vapor 16 / 11
20 - 25 : Bill and I go kitesurfing

csa_deadon - 12-8-2011 at 01:49 AM

I have a secret!!!!!! :bird:

ripsessionkites - 12-8-2011 at 09:19 AM

are you sure you can handle a big foil after selling the 10.8m

I'm curious whats next??? going even bigger is always the better option.

Dakitez way to funny! Now we know why Ricky says Rule 2 "Don't go fast or you,ll run over me, I'll MOVE over" Rule 3 "If I'm airborne call 911, or just call 911 when I get into the buggy" :singing::wee::Ange09::ticking::bigok:

BeamerBob - 16-8-2011 at 07:20 AM

Rip, when it's this big all you can do is stare! :moon:

csa_deadon - 20-8-2011 at 02:49 AM

It has arrived at the FEDEX hub in Troutdale, OR. Only a few miles from me. I need to go get it!

indigo_wolf - 20-8-2011 at 02:52 AM

Is the hub open 24 hours for will-calls? Freak them out and head out now.

ATB,
Sam

csa_deadon - 20-8-2011 at 02:55 AM

I think the hospital here would not see it the same way we do if I was to leave and drive for two hours "JUST" to get me kite. But it would be kind of cool just to go pick it up, and stop off at sunset for a test drive.

csa_deadon - 20-8-2011 at 03:53 AM

Oh well. Didn't feel like driving three hours to get it anyway. It's headed to Newport as we speak.

indigo_wolf - 20-8-2011 at 04:01 AM

Newport, RI? Cool.... sure we can find a good home for it on the East Coast

ATB,
Sam

csa_deadon - 20-8-2011 at 04:15 AM

@ indigo I did time on the east coast once. Almost halfway between you and Newport RI. The armpit of the universe! That's right folks!

Wait for it!

Yes I was in ROTTEN GROTON, CT
:eekdrull:

Errr ummm.... not sure that counts as half way between me and Newport, RI. I am north of Newport, RI.... Groton is almost due West of Newport.... would have to do some geographic origami to get it between me and Newport. Either that or copious amounts of something high proof.

I have skittered around NE among other places, but the only time I have actually lived in CT was in Hartford when I was young enough for the snow to reach over my head.

ATB,
Sam

bobalooie57 - 20-8-2011 at 05:21 AM

Man, I grew up in Stonington, just a couple miles from Groton, and never realized I was in the armpit of the universe! But then, Groton, to us in the little fishing village of Stonington, was like the big city, with the Sub base, Naval Academy, General Dynamics(EB, or Electric Boat, they used to call it). That Bridge over the Thames River used to scare the he!! out of me!

bobalooie57 - 20-8-2011 at 05:30 AM

:D Sorry, I really meant to ask, you didn't end up with that Enzo Ferrari of kites, that you must have "HOOJ BALLZ" to fly, did you? :puzzled: If so, I think a video is required.

csa_deadon - 20-8-2011 at 05:53 AM

Sorry indigo, saw the MA and due to the time difference I thought it was Maryland.

Opps!

New london is a different story. at least it was across the river. :P

The Enzo did not end up in my hands. To the best of my knowledge it did end up in the northwest. I think washington.

csa_deadon - 22-8-2011 at 09:07 AM

The secret has arrived! Holy C@@P! This thing is HOOJ!

Now just need to wait for the end of the week when the vacation begins, and winds light enough for something this big!

Rip will be scratching his head trying to figure this out! hehe

Whoop! Whoop!

heliboy50 - 22-8-2011 at 10:37 AM

In reference to the enzo, csa is in talks with the suspected owner re movie rights. More info to follow.

bobalooie57 - 22-8-2011 at 10:48 AM

I was hoping it would come out at SOBB. Looking forward to the remix!

arkay - 23-8-2011 at 12:11 AM

So are you going to fly it on long or short lines? I'm just trying to plan ahead of time for how much time I'll need to spend helping you to untangle the lines from your wheels... :shocked2:
