Dry lake south of Pahrump, NV?

It looks like there is a dry lake ~10 miles south of Pahrump, Nevada. Anyone know the name of it, and if there is public (i.e. buggy) access to it?

Here is a map from our friends at Google.

I might escort my wife there at the end of April.

TIA for the info.

Yo Greg,
There are two out that way.
Pahrump and Mesquite Dry Lakes.

Mesquite is tough to access.

Headed out to Pahrump Dry Lake once but was caught by the rains just as I arrived.
With 5 dry lakes closer (and no hills to climb) I haven't been back.

It is unique in that it is the only Dry Lake I know where the directions include the phrase: "Turn at the #@%$#!house".
Prostitution is legal in Nye County but not in Clark County (Las Vegas).
Those girls on nearly every downtown street corner just want to rub your shoulders.

There are a number of good map books that show details like roads in the remote regions. Have one with you.
Bring plenty of water and anything else you need to survive in a sometimes hostile environment.

Holler when you get in the area.

Thanks Corey. We're still undecided about the trip. But if we make it I'll drop you a line.
