Get them involved while they are young, very cool of the parents to share the passion.

You have to love it.

Very nice.

I love the fact that in the first video the buggy is homemade and sized for a little 'un. Not sure about the location, but round road signs make me think it is not the US.

Second video is shot at Pontefract, Wakefield, UK.... so much open space that hasn't been commandeered by govt. or business. :sniff: :sniff:

Sam

Great videos, and great seeing young kids enjoying the sport as much as their parents....the second video btw is at Pontefract Race Course

It's nice that the public is allowed to use the field when not in use. There is a fairgrounds nearby and expect for a few days a year when it is in use, it is locked up.... nice open field that you can only see through a fence. Believe at one time it was open space from a land grant, but I expect some money changed hands along the way.

yes there is not many places like that left these days...its all about risk assessments and local councils listening and learning....and getting away from the where there's blame, there's a claim mentality, kinda spoils it for everyone

My son is 8 and my oldest daughter is 14, they both can fly pretty good. My son really picked it up quickly. I was just asking him yesterday if it was time to order a custom sized buggy for him!

Thanks for sharing Todd, I will show him this video and make sure he thinks good and hard about it!

thanson2001ok - 24-8-2011 at 03:02 PM
