Can we see some pictures?

Also, where are you located?

erratic winds - 24-8-2011 at 10:47 AM

No Pics, no price, "only local" yet does not specify where they're at....Not quite doing it right.

Jb8431 - 24-8-2011 at 10:52 AM

Reply to me directly jlb8431@msn.com for pictures and I said make an offer hence no listed price.

His email address is JLB8431. He sent me pictures which I replied back with a question. No answer. His 1 line comment in 1 of the picture emails was "Kite is Great condition no damage" Who knows, maybe Drew is right?

Jb8431 - 25-8-2011 at 07:34 AM

This is the first and last time I place something for sale here. The attitude and distrust among all of you, is ridiculous. Yes people have tried to scam me too on ikitesurf, but generally it is pretty obvious there and I have never bought or sold here and I don't troll forums making comments or engaging with people for lack of somethimg better to do. You ruined the opportuntity to add a very nice kite to your quiver as I only kitesurf and this kite is begging to be flown and I had my fun buggying with it, but have moved to something I like more 3 years ago. Sorry, if I didn't "do things right" on your forum, but don't worry I won't be back. Good winds to all of you and please, lighten up a bit. Life is to short.

bobalooie57 - 25-8-2011 at 07:39 AM

Do you live near me? I'm in upstate NY, and could be interested. BTW, don't take it personally, Jonesband has been f'n with us for quite some time, and well, your style is similar. Bob

BeamerBob - 25-8-2011 at 07:52 AM

Ok, I was going to hold off on the email I got from him but here it is, along with my response.

From email from JB8431 "Josh":

I have never experienced such hostile bunch of idiots during a sale before. I kitesurf and sell kites on ikitesurf occasionally. You all must have nothing better to do with yourself and act like little gangsters, so forget the kite I don't need to sell I thought I would make available to someone who would appreciate it and the forum is just full of people who have nothing better to do.

Sorry if you were sincere, but the forum freaks with there bad attitude and junior high mentality ruined it.
I don't have time for this.
End of email.

My response to the above:
I was serious and just waiting for responses from you.

To be honest, you seem a little aloof and smartassed on the forum. Most people say the PKF is the most friendly and helpful place they have ever found on the net. PKF is a very congenial place when treated with dignity and respect, but your attitude makes you appear to be a bit juvenile or ironically junior high. You're really just getting back what you gave us.

Also, your attitude is so rare on there, you have been suspected of being a guy that has terrorized the forum with hundreds of inappropriate off topic posts as well and making personal attacks on members and their businesses. He does this to retaliate for us outing him as a kite cloner and seller of junk knockoffs on ebay. Feel free to search for "jonesband" on the forum if you want to learn more about him.

Sorry if I've offended you in any way, as I was interested in your kite. I had one just like that and it's the only kite I ever regretted selling.

Good luck

erratic winds - 25-8-2011 at 11:35 AM

Googling his email address shows he lives in CA. (sorry bobalouie)

Why he couldn't have said that in the first place, I have no idea, it certainly would have helped him get offers from locals who would purchase his item.

to Jb8431-We're sorry that you feel you shouldn't have to share any information when trying to sell a kite, but frankly, everything we asked for is not unreasonable.

Asking for more information does not make us "idiots". Best of luck with your sale, perhaps next time you'll actually try to sell something, instead of just taking your ball and bat and going home.

Drewculous - 26-8-2011 at 10:01 AM

sorry man... no offense intended... odd sales like this spark a little skepticism... its hard to sell something with no pics, no addy, no nothing... it LOOKS like a scam...

like i said, im sorry for what i said... but man, take the apologies, sell your baby.. and lets have some fun!

BeamerBob - 26-8-2011 at 10:48 AM

I don't think it was "us" Drew.:rolleyes::smug:

tridude - 27-8-2011 at 06:52 AM

a great kite that got away.......................dude, pics and a ballpark price equals sale.................good luck!
