I am planning on visiting friends up in Oklahoma City on Labor Day weekend , sept. 3-5. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a PKF
gathering. David (Pyro) mentioned he could get a few buggiers together for a meetup. I would love to meet other PKF members in the area if you are
available. We could start an annual buggy meet if there's wind and space. :shocked2:

Well as you know we have a little space but as long as everyone remembers the rules of flying and only 5 or 6 people at a time on the field we should
be ok. The Harley riders in the area do a meet that weekend called Labor Days. Just an Idea for the name. Waiting on weather report now for wind.

I'm sure someone can turn this into a picture or something to post but this is the field we buggy at. South and West winds only the more east and
north the more dirty the wind gets.

Ok so if anyone knows how to turn that into a link be my guest. I tried twice and it didn't work.

much better thanks Van also on a separate note winds can be from 5 knots to 35 knots they usually slack off in the summer and start climbing about now
so not sure what to expect lol sorry this was of almost no help to you Van. The water in the lake is down now but OKC law states we can not drive
vehicles on the lake bed. But we did have one guy try it till he actually got pulled over for it. Just to let everyone know don't drive on the lake
bed.

after review the only law i can find on driving on the lake bed is the laws taking about off highway vehicles meaning motorized vehicles so we are in
the clear on driving on the lake this almost doubles the field size for us right now.
