I hope you guys dont mind having something not related to kiting on here.. although i suppose you could try to kite with it :shocked2: But i
definitely do not recommend it.
I have a Yaabaa 749 mod trial bike. If you've never seen trials before, i would check out some videos from Danny Macaskill. It'll change your life.
:wow: He usually uses a bigger "stock" styled trial bike though.
This bike is from the 2010 line up, and is the middle entry bike. It was originally imported from the UK and originally retailed i think about £800.
However now Ive found them for sale new at $1000.

I thoroughly used this bike before i got into kiting. But I never use it anymore because im addicted to kiting sports, and i honestly prefer mountain
biking, to trials.
Its been well used, but everything is cosmetic. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Tires hold air. Nothing is bent or cracked. The brakes are
in perfect shape, and are extremely LOUD (signature for trial bikes). It was painted blue because i didnt care for the original look that it had. I
did groove the rims a bit to get more traction on the brakes however.. some people swear by it. I did it to try it out, but i didnt feel any
noticeable difference.
The bike uses good Try All components. Its got dual Magura HS33 brakes! It literally stops on a dime. It has Animal grips. I also have basically never
used Forte pedals that i got right before i bought my first kite. And it also comes with a chain protector, and a spare extra wide back tire tube.
The geometry of the bike is great. It is a really well built bike, and will work great to learn on.
All of that said, I think this used bike is worth $500-$600. However i have been trying to sell this thing online and locally since my kiting days
began about January, but the market is just too small here in the states. I wanted to get another kite, but now thanks to greasehopper i want to get a
buggy
I think my chances are small, but if any of you have a buggy that you'd like to trade for my bike.. let me know what you've got. Even if its a buggy
that would normally sell on here for $300. Or if someone wants to buy it, we can work something out. I just dont really know what to ask for it.
I'd love to pass this bike on. Its a unique and frustrating sport, but i think all of you kiters are used to that haha.
Cheers
