First fully powered kiteloops

I just learned them today on my 19m charger. they aren't as scary as i thought theyd be. Once you reach the apex of your jump crank that bar hard twist your board so its facing downwind for the fast landing/roll away. that's it, oh yeah and COMITT! I landed it first try today, i was so stoked

You're nuts!! That's why you're gonna teach me that trick!!:spin:

flyjump - 30-8-2011 at 07:25 PM

i can't imagine trying it on a 12m in 30mph winds....that's gonna be scary. that 19 is so smooth and floaty, so you don't get that whippy lift or acceleration. dang, its no wonder people love it so much. I think taking your feet out of your bindings for a one footer or a board off is harder. this is just all committment. I gotta give credit to Carltb for giving me the trick tips for it though. :bigok:

looping the 12 in 30mph winds is the exact same technique. to start with, loop it at the apex or when you start to decend. its all about the body position. get that right and you can handle any loop.
when you feel really confident you can start looping the kite on the way up!!!

commit commit ccccccccccccccccooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttttt!!!!

Very Awesome Adam! I know how stoked you must have been! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see it in action this fall!

B-Roc - 1-9-2011 at 06:13 AM

See that's my problem... I've been afraid of commitment all my life.
;-)

PHREERIDER - 1-9-2011 at 06:28 AM

and what a beautiful commitment it is!

with beautiful rewards and soon a REFLEX without a thought, and all you taste are the rewards.

arkay - 1-9-2011 at 08:47 AM

Nice! Loops while in the air on land must be freaky, I haven't even considered trying.. i just cruise on the landboard; must be getting old or something. You blow it you'd smeared on the ground :o Congrats on giving it a go AND landing it!!

Kamikuza - 1-9-2011 at 04:02 PM

I'm thinking about trying helicopter loops too ...

flyjump - 1-9-2011 at 05:04 PM

flyjump - 1-9-2011 at 06:38 PM

I dont have a camera, so I have to wait on other people when they come to watch or ride with me at events

erratic winds - 1-9-2011 at 07:57 PM

Props! Keep it up I love hearing about your flying!

PHREERIDER - 2-9-2011 at 05:43 AM

here's me on the atb , doing kite loops, first one at 00 :20 straight running jump and at 00:55 with a back roll.

decent breeze 15-20 the unit is a Venom 2 13m.

really adds a nice down wind thump at the apex. really fills in the nicely if its light by placing them higher in the window for extra float.
