The speed needed to launch like that was the main factor... and also the hidden view of slider preceding the launch ramp... but the rest looked

The classic kiting video with Top Hat and Erik Eck... Must watch for all kitesurfers. Doesnt get much more real than that. Thats something that CAN
happen. Its rare, but it does happen. Up drafts in strange places can be a bit scary... Helmets, and knowledge of your area are a must..
