Anyone ever purchase anything from awindofchange.com? Looking to spend some mulah and I just want to make sure I'm not buying something from a company
that isn't reputable.

+1 on huzzahs for A Wind of Change.
I've bought kites, boards, control gear, Ozone flags, line, etc. from Kent.
I've also had more than a few lengthy conversations with him about things that would or wouldn't work together. He's always been gracious and I have
never felt like I was being rushed into a sale. At least once, I mentioned that I felt guilty about taking up his time when I was in the early stages
of gathering information on something and wasn't sure when I would be ready to make a purchase and he said that was fine.
I will add one caveat and this doesn't apply to just Kent/A Wind of Change. However if this is your first transaction with him, I think it will go a
long ways to managing expectations and ensuring a smooth & happy transaction.
Very, very few kite stores having the resources to implement a realtime online inventory. In addition to the online/mail order business, Kent/A Wind
of Change is also a brick & mortar store. If Kent is in the process of phasing out a product or it is a product that has been retired by the
manufacturer, it eventually ends up on the Clearance/Closeouts pages... as soon as it is sold, it is removed from the website. Otherwise, if you
place an order on an "active" item and the item is out of stock, the site will still process the order. Kent can still turn around the order fairly
quickly.... in the case of Ground Industries, some things were drop-shipped to me because GI was on the East Coast the same as me.
However, things happen and sometimes a glitch with the manufacturer might cause things to lag. If you absolutely need an item for an event, a trip
you are taking or some other time-sentive scenario, PICK UP THE PHONE AND CONFIRM STOCK ON HAND. If they don't have an item in stock, Kent or Daelyn
will be able to give you an ETA that is generally very reliable (barring acts of God).

Sam
