I assumed they molded that. It is good they machine it out of a solid. Much stronger and worth the $$. I want to get a board mount as well. I need some other shots than helmet mount for editing.....if I ever get around to editing the footage I have.

I just took my first footage with mine this afternoon, pretty nice. It did come out really shaky and twisty turny. Need to find a software that allows me to lock the frame up and down....Hey Kami what do you do to edit you videos so that the picture isn't rotating all the time?????? If the winds were real clean then I think the video would be better. Today just wasn't one of those days.

I use tie straps (zip ties) to make sure that it doesn't come out of the bridle and often find that if you can get it close to the canopy you won't have as much shake.

Kitehero mount is what the video is of ...

Use zip ties around the legs to keep the lines in the hooks too - mine's popped out and it's a nuisance.

Board mount from them is great, you'll never break it :D

I use Vegas to manually rotate key frames to make sure up is up and get the shakes out :o time-consuming work. Someone posted a link to that software that takes the jiggles out - forget the name now - or you can use Vdub and Deshaker if you have the time to decipher the settings and wait for it to do it's thing ...
