video from a buddy buggying Phanny 9

I used to buggy with a good buddy here in Ontario Canada, usually only getting out in the spring and fall when we would do a couple hour drive to a beach hoping to get wind. Then he got married and moved to Ireland a few years ago and he keeps teasing me with videos of him buggying a short drive from home any day of the week now on a long wide open beach.
Here is one he posted just cruising along with his trusty old 9m Phanny playing chicken with his buddy on the landsailor once in a while - I'm not at all jealous, no, not at all...

Just a lovely beach. When are you planning on visiting! :tumble:

My girlfriend lives in Scotland so I'm forced to go buggy the beaches there and have had to skip over Ireland. I get some nice riding in Scotland but not as often as he gets with his life of kiting leisure in Ireland .... someday though

Where in Scotland? I have been to Aberdeen a dozen times. Not really a good buggy spot there. But the wind blows!
That is an amazing beach in Ireland!

My girlfriend lives beachfront in Broughty Ferry (just outside Dundee) so I can buggy there right out the front door, but not often a good direction and that's just a small run - better for surfing here just down the road a little to the curve at Monifieth. It's not too far to run over to St Andrews to buggy. Then north of Dundee, in Arbroath, there is a fun big grass area with a big swooping hill along the edge very fun ride. Then a little farther north a nice beach at Lunan Bay. For Aberdeen they buggy north of there around Balmedie.
Then I've also ridden Irvine (west coast) and out on Barra and then a few scattered beaches as we drive around.
