Good condition, few dings... complete w/straps, deckpad...$275 Seanny - 10-9-2011 at 09:31 AM
I have always wanted a tube kite… but I dunno. The wind out here is always really crappy, and I don't want to have to deal with the fear of popping
something/valve degradation over time >.<Midgaar - 10-9-2011 at 11:41 AM
What year are the kites? Any leaks, repairs? Are they bow or C-kites?
I've replaced a valve or two on each, they are both good to very good condition....bigkahuna - 10-9-2011 at 01:05 PM
This is the first time I've ever seen 11 and 13 meter inflatos referred to as "light wind" kites. What do you weigh, 60 lbs? I've got a 20m Best
Waroo. Now -thats- a light wind kite! (Just teasing... ).Midgaar - 10-9-2011 at 04:00 PM
I guess these are not beginner kites so I will be passing, great price though!borntofli - 17-9-2011 at 05:08 AM

Power on 13m is almost the same as 15-16m bow/sle when using standard 23m lines.
I fly mine on 24m+6m extensions, with my weight 200lbs and beginner/intermediate skill can go as low as 12knts on 150 Mako, 10knts with a 6'6"
surfboard, so it has roughly the same power as my 17m Waroo on 27m lines.
Under appreciated good kites, good materials and construction quality, decent wind range, relatively good depower (even with 9" bar throw).
Not beginner friendly only because it needs constant back lines tension as it will overfly fast and just dives down. Once learned very easy and
predictable.
Reverse launch comes handy (mid wind range and up), practice needed to avoid yarding :-)
BTW; EH does not sell 13m anymore as the newest 11m has almost identical wind range.PHREERIDER - 17-9-2011 at 08:45 AM
I'LL take the 11mm.borntofli - 17-9-2011 at 09:24 AM
Unfortunately EH closed shop this year..... He'll be coming out with stuff under a diff name soon, i bet....His designs are always pushing limits of
what can be done w/ kites...erratic winds - 17-9-2011 at 12:28 PM

Love the mako 140, what you switching it for out of interest? Its my main board at the moKamikuza - 23-9-2011 at 09:42 PM
What year is that Mako? 2010? How about shipping to Japan :D any idea?borntofli - 24-9-2011 at 03:10 AM
The mako is 2009-10, not sure which...... The only thing I ride anymore are surfboards....Kamikuza - 24-9-2011 at 03:51 AM
Can it be shipped to Japan or will that cost an arm and a leg?borntofli - 24-9-2011 at 08:13 AM
my guess it would be an arm and 2 legs....
You would need some serious power for it at your size... A friend of mine at 230lbs has a hard time on it unless hes seriously powered....Kamikuza - 24-9-2011 at 09:17 PM
Yeah I switch to my small boards when I get powered up on the big kites ... gives me another 5 knots of range but it depends on the kite - the Speed's
make so much lift that it's really only the utter bottom end that I need the 'door. Arcs and LEIs on the other hand ...
Oh well - I was hoping shipping wouldn't kill the deal but ... dandre - 24-9-2011 at 09:28 PM
THE FATTEST KITEBOARDER IN JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd buy the c4 if I didn't beat the crap out of my kites.
Me and my kite are nakama! If I eat that bush you'd better bet my kite is coming in for seconds//van - 24-9-2011 at 10:08 PM
I'll be in rockport in a couple weeks. If the mako is still available , I'll drop by port A and pick it up from you.Kamikuza - 24-9-2011 at 10:13 PM

Kami .. you still go dibs on it so it's still yours if you want it .. haha... I was gonna get it if no one was gonna buy it before I head down to
rockport. I was planning to go down next weekend to surf at Port A.
btw ... not sure if he means it sold to me or some else .. :Dborntofli - 26-9-2011 at 09:06 AM
sold to someone else...was kiting yesterday and guy bought it right there....van - 26-9-2011 at 11:21 AM
Cool .. you just saved me $275 .. haahaaa .. Kamikuza - 26-9-2011 at 05:03 PM
No you're right mate - local sales get priority IMO for the benefit of the seller ... shipping, boxing etc is time-consuming and we all have to sell
our gear at big discounts so ...rocfighter - 26-9-2011 at 06:27 PM
We bought our PL STD from Born2fly. The Kidd and I have worked that buggy a lot since then. He's a good seller and we got just what he said we would.
