13 meter Scorpion KO *SOLD*

Cheddarhead - 12-9-2011 at 04:54 PM

Putting my 13 meter Scorpion up for sale. Kite is in really good shape. No holes, rips, tears or patch work of any kind. All zips in perfect working order. As stated, no bar or lines since my bar went with my previous Venom sale. Comes with bag and aluminum spars which are also in excellent shape. Price includes shipping to anywhere in the U.S.A
Selling this only because of my Ozone conversion. Pics can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/beaker69/

ahhh, what a good kite. little bit aggressive if you are a new rider, but its got what it takes if you want speed or lift. ya know all these guys go after the phantoms, but there are so many scorpions floating around out there and i think they are a way better kite than the phantom IMO, but i like a fast turning kite. great park and ride style kite, plus it has lift/ freestyle aspects if thats what you are into. if i didn't have to wait so long to get my paycheck i would totally pick this up from you.

don't get my wrong, i love my quiver of chargers, and i wouldnt sell them for any other arc thats out there right now, but i think the scorpion is one of the most underrated arcs.

bump for a great kite

wait a second, cheddarhead, did i sell this kite to you?

Cheddarhead - 12-9-2011 at 05:56 PM

You might have in another life. Haven't kept any of my older u2u's and I'm a little short on the memory right now so it might have been possible. Kinda reminds me of that reactor that bounced state to state for awhile :bouncy:

nice

You are killing me here. I decide to sell a kite to buy a small depower for my daughter and here you post one of the few kites I was considering buying for myself.

Must... resist... temptation. Have... no... spare... cash.

Aaaaaaargh!

Bump for a small arm twist?

mdpminc - 15-9-2011 at 06:22 AM

@#$%^&*, I am really, really tempted, it would fit so nice between Sc16 and Ch10.........

markite - 15-9-2011 at 08:48 AM

Marek - what's going on with that new avatar photo? Was this you after that day at Kettle Point with the 10m Charger?

Feyd - 15-9-2011 at 10:16 AM

I think I may have sold it to ya Cheddar. I cant tell who bought what anymore!

g00fba11 - 15-9-2011 at 10:32 AM

I cant believe this is still here at 250..... Someone should grab this before I do just for principle..... Awesome deal..... Anyone anyone?????

If you combine cheddar's sale with mine you will bag a nice arc quiver for under a 5 cientos dollars...... Is that grammatically correct?

Cheddarhead - 15-9-2011 at 10:55 AM

Yeah Chris it might have been you, but like you said I can't keep all of that straight anymore. I have no use for this arc anymore, so simply put I want to give someone a good price so they can enjoy it as much as I did. I still have a little wiggle room if that makes things easier for someone to grab this arc.

van - 15-9-2011 at 11:09 AM

It would fit between my 10m scorpion and my 15m phantom ... hmmm ... what kind of wiggle are we talking about here ?? :singing: ... haha ...

Cheddarhead - 15-9-2011 at 12:25 PM

A little wiggle meaning $200 and you pay the shipping of your choice.

van - 15-9-2011 at 02:33 PM

Was waiting around for a 12m charger but the scorpion might fit the bill ... :tumble: .. I'll have to look for my spare change..

My goodness someone better snatch this up. Uber fun kite right here. IMHO this makes a good intro to Arcs. Some might say otherwise, with the need for almost full inflation for good launch. But if you master setting this kite up, you will be able to put any arc in the sky without batting an eye. I can hold my 16m Scorpion down in 25mph, I'd imagine the 13m could go to 30mph in the right hands.

GODDAMN GOOD PRICES ON ARCS~~~

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGG

whoever got this awesome deal should buy cheddarhead a beer when they see him.....

pbc - 23-9-2011 at 06:53 PM

Kite received. Condition it awesome. The yellow and geen on black and white is certainly my favorite in the Scorp series.

Next I need a 7 or 8 meter Arc. Maybe by February I'll have more dough. ;-)
