This Sunday Sept. 25 some of us that knew AJ are going to get together out at the pass in Galveston and fly single line kites to celebrate his life.
If you can please come join us. We will start gathering in the morning around 8. We plan on being there for most of the day.

We are supposed to be getting rain Sunday, but I plan to fly tomorrow night for him.

ragflapper I could borrow , could take a run to the water tower and back.in AJ's memory ....se 15 predicted .....What about food ? what to bring?

phantom, AJ would like that. I see pics with him on a gold phantom at SLP alot. Never met the guy except for a few U2Us on PKF but seems to be a
great guy.

AJ is obviously hoggin the wind up there as it was dead flat here in Tacoma this after noon. But that did not stop me from putting the 8m up and
making it fly.
RIP AJ, even those that have never met you will miss your influence in the PKF family!

I got to fly my 7M NPW9, (thanks Susan) static, in very light wind for about an hour Sunday afternoon. At times I had to step back to keep the lines
tight, and then a little puff would come up out of nowhere. I liked to think it was AJ helping out. :wink2:
