I was snooping around on ebay and came across an auction for one of these. They APPEAR to look like they are solidly made. Anyone ever used or see
one; are they ok or a piece of junk? They do have a 3 year warranty if that counts for anything.
Anyone care to share their opinion?
thanks,

Yikes, I thought something seemed a bit fishy, and was curious why no one had bid on it yet. Plus the name seemed REALLY cheesy.
I'm looking for a reasonably priced used buggy, I can afford a new one and i want to give buggying a try before the snow hits. We have lots of big
smooth fields around here (but not a sandy beach for miles) and i'd love to give it a try.
Thanks for the heads up, you guys rock!!

Thank YOU for posting! This result will now show up for anyone who googles "glidemaster GTX 350", and we can warn away any other buyers!
This seller is bad news! (Such bad news I made him my avatar!)Peter25 - 26-3-2012 at 09:55 PM
Hey, in advanced I ask that you would please pardon my grammar, lol. So i have bought one of these glidemastor gtx 350s awhile back as a starter buggy
aside from the crappy hardware that was used (soft metal bolts) it seems to be a decent buggy. as far as safety goes is there anything I need to be
concerned about? Almost forgot to mention the seat is garbage. It's a nylon material but after maybe using it 20 times it's starting to fall apart.ripsessionkites - 27-3-2012 at 01:42 AM
doh, i just dissed him again ... i foresee an email coming again.

Not sure if he's selling a copy of the older kitetrike or he's a dealer for them but the Glidemastor is the older kitetrike. The new kitetrike is
made of aluminum.

Donny's a good guy, no problem. Thanks.
along this note about jonesband, working on a few things myself and posting corrections about some of his stuff.
discovered a way to speak with out saying anything. got another company, person, or what ever they are, to stop selling a lie and not deceiving the
public any more. :singing:Timeflyz - 27-3-2012 at 11:39 AM
I think these were called Rockville buggies a few years ago. How do I know?....I happen to own...."gulp", not only one, but two! I do have a few
things to say:
When I was brand new to kiting a few years ago I didn't have anyone to hold my hand or even recommend products....which is to say I didn't search out
anyone or join a forum like this. Sidenote: The wealth of knowledge on this sight is amazing...thank you all. And, the fact that you are a friendly
bunch is a credit to the human race. Back to the story...
So, I figured I would just outfit myself and learn this wonderful sport. E-bay got ahold of me, my newfound interest and my wallet. This was about
5 years ago, and there were good deals to be had. Long story short, I got my first Flexifoil for $125(Bullet 5.5, Brand New), this Rockvillle buggy
for $200, another kite, a second Rockville and eventually 2 more Flexi kites. About the Buggy: The seat is Crap! My butt broke through in just a few
rides. My local shoe repair guy has seen it in his shop several times. I have added extra straps as well. To VAN : I would like to talk about a
modified Black Widow seat. That looks awesome! Then there is the issue with the suicide forks. There is no "keeper" for the front wheel. So, I
fashioned a couple out of washers. There are a few plusses. Its way light. Throw it on your shoulder kinda light. It seems sturdy, meaning I have
a couple hundred hours in this thing and I haven't been easy on it. Its still solid. For the price I paid I am OK with it, but the fact is I have
never driven any other bug. I am way interested to see what everyone is flying and riding when I show up at NABX. Its gonna be a blast, and I will
sure learn a lot. For the record: I am Not OK with people claiming they build or produce something that is not what they claim it is. A person's
word really means a lot to me.
I'm sure one day I will want a "real" buggy. In the mean time, I'll be the bald guy with the perma grin on his face, just glad to be flying anything,
enjoying the wind and the people I meet. Looking forward to heading to Buggytown!ripsessionkites - 27-3-2012 at 12:26 PM
