I'm sure some of you have seen Marc's upgraded XR+ in person or on this forum. I was thinking about shipping a set of the upgraded rails and seat to
WWBB if anyone is interested. Since Marc's buggy will be there for others to see, I would only ship it there if there might be a possible buyer so I
don't have to ship them back.
This is what an XR+ looks like with the upgrades ,

You should know I'm interested

Van ... I see your store is under construction ... what it the cost of the XR rail upgrade??? Don't need to announce it here ... u2u is fine.
Will people by able to order BWII with rail upgrade and if so will it change the price???

I'm gonna shut down the webstore .. I was just playing around with it. I didn't really plan to retail. I would rather that people contact one of
the 3 dealers that are selling my stuff. That's why I never got around to finishing the online store. The kit will run about $250 total ($100 for
seat, $100 for set of rails, $50 for rail cover + foam).
I guess I will bring a set to WWBB. All future purchase can be made through ECKS, Big Mike, or the Kite Lounge.

Hey Van,
Just out of curiosity, will the upgrade side rails fit an original P/L Comp rear axle and down tube?
Thanks,
Morrie

Also interested if it fits PL comp ST. Is there a back support? Will a PL deluxe seat work with the rails?

I don't have an original to try out. If someone can give me a measurement of the center to center of the holes for the rails on the back axles, I can
verify.
The idea with the high side rails is to give you back support. If this is not enough, I can look at making a stiffer back section to give additional
support. I've been asked to add a pocket on the back just like my black widow seats for a piece of plastic. I will consider it for future
developments but would rather make a seat with a stiffer back. Most people wouldn't know what the pocket is for anyways.
The rails are wide at the front , unlike the peter lynn seats, so my cricket seat fits better.

Van - The P/L Comp center to center of the holes for the rails is 20 1/4". The siderail tube is 1" od.
van - 13-10-2011 at 08:30 PM
If it's 1" OD, then it's smaller than the XR+. My rails are built to match the XR+ which is 1.25" OD. It shouldn't be a problem to make a set for
the Comp ST though if someone was really interested.
