Exciting news. Peter Lynn will be a special guest at DBBB this year.

Thanks to a little coaxing from Jeff Howard, you are likely to see a few more old skool kite friends from far away places in attendance. This looks
to be a year not to miss. More surprises to be had.

Hmmm ,
Not having to fly certianly makes this more Do-able? I will need to get creative with work? My vaca' time is used up this year?
I believe I have been told that the beaches are hard enough to ride ATB ? coyotes ? Is that true ?

That's awesome that Peter Lynn will be making it! Maybe one day he will come to the East Coast!
Have a blast down there guys! I will be wishing I was there!

The question is, will Jeffy be at DBBB?
centex_buggier - 13-10-2011 at 07:43 PM
Ken,
it depends on the tide swing. If it is a 1-2' swing then there won't be much hard pack except right by the water. If it's more than 3' then you should
be pretty good. You won't have as much hardpack as Sunset, but the wind is almost always onshore or close to it so you can easily ride up near the
water. At high tide there's plenty of beach (unlike Sunset), but there won't be much hard pack.
Also rain will have a big impact. The more rain we get before the event, the more hardpack there will be.
Steve.

I wish i could meet peter lynn. Im still trying to make it down for the weekend stuff 25th-27th. Maybe next year guys. I have a question what kind of
weather do you expect down there that time of year. My parents seem to think its cold or something from what my friend tells me its usually quite warm
but every now and then it can get cold enough to snow.

It can be summer temps one day and the next winter temps. What we tell everyone is bring summer and winter clothes that way you are covered.
