.... few words about first impression ......
I receive my first issue yesterday and as always with UK magazines I was very satisfied .....
Nice format , high quality paper , lots off well edited photos and perfect layout .... all advertisements blend in nicely without getting on you
nerves ........
Somehow any UK magazine that I purchase in pass years make me a bit happier then USA based publications ...... Starting with ST Format and Amiga
Format in 80s and Top Gear and many more automotive magazines that I read in 90s ....... Mac computer oriented and iPhone magazines look way batter
too.....
KiteWorld is full of amazing photos that are eye catching and interesting when you look at it from photographer point of view .... I am sure
Photoshop is used heavily ...... anyhow..... result are awesome ......
You get few kite reviews, location descriptions and rider profiles ...... It was nice to find Gin Zulu III review in first issue that I got
........ lol ....
..... price is a bit higher then US magazines .... that is main con so far ..... I will let you know after reading few issues if my opinion
changed in any way ......
I would love a subscription to KW's land-based cousin, Powerkite Magazine... just not feasible right now.

Few days ago I receive Powekite Magazine ......... and somehow I am disappointed .....
Paper is thin , photos not as pro like in Kiteworld and articles not as interesting ....
Maybe if I have Powerkite issue arriving first my opinion would be a bit more positive ...... I think after big WOW with Kiteworld my expectations
was way too high for Powekite Mag.....
160 vs 70 pages make it also hard to compare ....
