I'm in the middle of fishing in speaker wires for my home theater, before I go ahead and cut the holes in my basement ceiling for surrounds I want to
make sure that the space I'm fishing into is free and clear of obstructions. Not sure how to figure this out, I realize that my path is more than big
enough to fit my gopro camera. I pulled out an old 4' floor lamp unscrewed the lampshade, and threaded the tripod mount into its place. On goes the
camera, turned on the lamp, and push it along into the open path, straight to were I want to see. After moving it around a bunch to see all angles, I
pulled it out to inspect what I filmed. Almost perfect!!!!! I need to piece together a couple mounts, so that I can get the proper angle for viewing,
none the less my tests proved successful. Thought that I'd share it with you guys, another use for the Gopro found. Thanks for reading.

I have not tried it yet but the latest firmware for the camera allows the video port to be used realtime. So you plug the camera to a screen, use it
for inspection instantly and not have to record and download.van - 17-10-2011 at 07:36 AM

Had to agree. I thought that I was going to see snake vision or something. Darn and I was so looking forward to snake vision.
