Hey everyone- just wanted to share some video from my most recent buggy session. This was only my 4th session on the buggy, but the 1st time flying
my depower with substantial wind. I'm on a 7m HQ Montana V in about 15-20mph of wind. I hope you enjoy the video, feel free to leave any comments if
you see something I need to work on. See you at Wildwood this weekend! :wee:

Very enjoyable video and particularly enjoyed @1:12. Communication with the public in a friendly manner is crucial to keeping the beaches open to us.

Hey MC MIKE D (I watched your other YouTube vids). Looks like you had a great time!! Check you out throwin 360's already... Damn watch out !!! See you
this weekend...:Ange09:

Hahaha thanks guys! Although I appreciate the props I feel compelled to point out that the 360 was in the bloopers section (read: not on purpose)
Kober: Thanks- couldn't have gotten that shot without my awesome wife filming
Todd: I like the way you put that, " Communication with the public in a friendly manner." :bouncing:
Cheezycheese: Cool man- not sure if u know, but I'm a HS math teacher and I've been doing an end of year rap with my students for the last 4 years-
it's always a good time
bobalooie57 - 18-10-2011 at 07:45 AM
Nice job, nice spot. Soon you will be seeking to do those 360's on purpose! Math rap! My HS math teachers were too uptight for anything like that!
MikeDobbs - 18-10-2011 at 03:44 PM
Thanks bobalooie57! If you want to check out the raps they're all on my youtube channel- just follow the link for the kite vid and click on my
username.
Can't wait until I can do 360's on purpose:wee:
The more I watch it the more I like that backflip off the back of the buggy- that looked pretty cool. I think I might like to perfect that one as
well:tumble:
cheezycheese - 18-10-2011 at 03:54 PM
How is the sand out there in long beach...?
MikeDobbs - 18-10-2011 at 04:07 PM
High Tide might be do-able, depending on the buggy and the winds., but at low tide the sand was incredible- nice smooth hard pack.
You guys should come join me for a session one of these windy fall days. I'm already thinking about organizing a sister event to the Cheezeball...
maybe call it the "Dobbs Invitational," has a nice ring to it :eureka:
cheezycheese - 18-10-2011 at 04:10 PM
Do it !!! If you post it they will come...!!! INVASION LONG BEACH !!!
Jaymz - 18-10-2011 at 08:57 PM
Great to see you getting out there Mike. Your showing US how it's done. So we'll have a rapper joining us at WW?
airin - 18-10-2011 at 09:32 PM
Relaxing video.
What a great day you had!
Cerebite - 20-10-2011 at 06:32 PM
Great video, looks like you are getting it pretty quickly [I think I broke a lineset winding it around an axle my 4th time out]
Mad props on getting and keeping those kids interested in Math :wee:
MikeDobbs - 21-10-2011 at 03:27 PM
Thanks Jaymz and airin!
@Cerebite I'll watch out for those lines around the axle- doesn't sound like fun. Thanks for the math rap props- it really is a lot of fun and the
kids remember it forever. Doing what I can to make math cool for the masses
