2009 Cabrinha Switchblade 12M - Price drop $550

Also part of the downsizing:

2009 Cabrinha Switchblade 12m. I purchased this at the end of August. I've flown it once and it flew great.

Overall good condition - has a number of small repairs (a few pinholes and a few slightly larger - I think 6 overall - please see pictures. My apartment is too small to open up and recheck...) that the prior owner said were professionally done. No repairs on leading edge. Kite pumps and holds air fine.

Asking $550+shipping. Comes RTF with bar, lines, pump, bag, leash etc. Pump tube has some damage that the prior owner taped up, but it inflates the kite fine.

Edit for premature posting due to fat finger. I do not in fact have the year 2009 for sale.

Probably just as well, not a year I'd like to have back over again

No bites on this ad....

Anyone have any feedback? Price too high? Listing on ikitesurf as well.

Anyone interested at $550?

Hey man,

Its a beauty kite... Not sure what you paid for it, but likely too much... Even at $550 + Shipping is a tad high considering the time of year, maybe if the kite was in A1 condition...

I think @ $550 if this was spring (Mar/Apr) this would be gone in a second.

Personally im looking to replace my 12m and a switchblade would fit nicely but at $550 with the repairs I am concerned I am buying someone else's problems (btw it is unlikely the repairs were professionally done, most repair shops would either sew the tears, or at least use the same color tape)...

Food for thought man, good luck with the sale :)

Brent-

Wow thanks so much for the feedback that's really helpful. All good stuff to know - especially the part about whether the repairs were done professionally. I didn't press the seller on that point (didn't even think to). Live and learn I guess. Well if you or anyone is interested at a lower price, I'm happy to have offers, though too much lower and I think I'm probably just better off hanging onto it.
