I am pretty happy with my quiver at the moment.
I am looking for a kite somewhere in between my Sy-8 and VII-16.
I want a closed-cell so I can use it in water. I do have a couple of kites in mind.
I am looking for a kite to buggy and land board, with the option for doing water soon.
Synergy-12
VenomII-13
Scorption-13
Pulse2-8
Pulse2-10
I am unsure whether the Pulse2 8m or the 10m would give me less overlap with my current quiver.
If needed, I would consider a Pulse2-8m and pulse2-12m combo. However, I think 1 kite should be able to cover the gap in my quiver.
I am leaning more towards Pulse2 since i've been meaning to try one.
I would appreciate any input/thoughts.

I'd recommend you stay in the arc family instead of throwing FS in the mix or definately fly a pulse before you decide to buy one to see how they
compare power wise.
I had a 6m pulse 2 and did not like it but others love them. Horses for courses... but seeing how you have an 8 and 16m arc, I think you'd best split
the difference with another arc.

Thanks b-roc.
Now, I have tried first gen pulse and liked it a lot hence why I am considering a pulse2.
I'd love to get input from anyone that is familiar with both to see what size pulse2 would be the closest to a VII-13 or s Syn-12. Thus giving me the
least overlap.
Also, I might end up getting a 15-19m speed2/3 for low winds.

I don't know if you might have considered this, it kind of fits in there, and is a sweet deal, to boot! http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=19938

I say 12 or 13 m arc will fill in your quiver nicely.

Depending on wind conditions, you are welcome to try my Flysurfer Outlaws. Very much like the Pulse IIs, except the Outlaws have a little more grunt.
As you are in NJ, perhaps we could meet up at Wildwood sometime?

IMHO I would add a 13m arc and a Pulse 2.......
I have a couple of arcs and a couple of FSers.... a 10m Pulse and a 8m Pulse 2........
I love them all...... They are totally 2 different animals....... but both are a total blast to fly.......
I don't know if I am off my rocker but I would say my 10m Pulse feels like it has about the same pull as my 13m VII. I think the wind range for
these 2 kites would be about the same also..... but the other flying characteristics are obviously different......
I am sure someone will post the exact specs..... I am just going by my limited experience. I take them both out in about the same wind.....
I also have the 13m Scorpion..... It will park and ride in the buggy.... but if you're a rookie with arcs like I am and are in gusty wind
conditions..... and make a mistake in your jibe..... well...... let's just say the scorpion has some pretty good vertical lift.... ("ooops I crapped
my pants") btw I am a newb to FSer but I am very impressed with them.......

I'm sure ill end up with a 12/13 arc eventually.
@Ragden, That would be awesome. Lets hope we get SE winds at least once this season. I only have off on weekends to visit wildwood =/
@goofball, Thanks that was my feeling, that a 10m Pulse2 would be about on par with the 12/13m arcs.
Looking at P/A alone (Sure P/A will not tell exactly the range of each kite) but it could help compare them somewhat.
VII-13 9.1
Syn-15 9.2
Ch-15 9.5
I do find it interesting the P/A of the Syn-15 compared to the VII-13.
Anyone able to chyme in here? Is that really the case where the VII-13 is comparable to a Syn-15 as opposed to a Syn-12?
I would expect newer arcs to be more "Efficient" which could make a difference.
