Post your recent experiences and session notes here for those who just can't get enough:

Just got back from flying for the first time with my brother in law. I had him pick up a $35 kite just to get started with.

Wind was totally off/on gusty. Get a nice gust of wind; then it would dwindle and taper off. Would have to ride it out; having to really work the kite waiting on the next gust.

I flew it for a while and then handed it off to him and he picked it up real quick. I got out my 1m Imp and we were both flying. Dramatic drastic differences between the two kites flight characteristics.

Next time out I want to compare the two kites. My 1m Imp seemed huge in the air compared to that 1.2m DP(Direct Power).

For $35 though; it's worth it.

I nearly bought one of those myself just to have and try out and I still might. I think I will get the 1.5m though.

It's purely 2 line as it has no brake line bridles. It's only connected primarily around the leading edge and the sides. Minimal in the middle. I was hoping maybe it could be converted to 4 line but no. We only got to fly for one hour but that was the best hour of my entire day. By the time he got home from work until it got dark at 7pm.

It's an injustice in a few days when they kick the clocks back one hour! I've never heard one single valid reason why or how it is beneficial to adjusting the clocks like that. If anything, set them forward another hour. In the dead of winter, it gets dark at like 5 something in the evening! I like it in the summer time when it gets dark at like 9pm! It should be like that all year.

Makes for a dismal long dark and cold winter. Messes with my sleep too.

And for anyone who's for "daylight savings time": How about those states that don't do DST? How about back before anyplace did DST?

Ahhh, I remember when I first fell in LOVE with powerkiting. I could not get enough of it. It's nice to see others as stoked as I was. Spread the sickness Bro'
