Go Pro Commercial

frankiter - 13-11-2011 at 10:31 AM

I just saw the Ben Brown Go Pro commercial again. You know the one – he goes over a waterfall and blows a kiss to the onlookers. (Maybe some one with more know how than me could post the video?) So it looks like Go Pro is spending some big $$ on advertising. That got me wondering if we might see a Todd Stevick Go Pro commercial.

Not that Todd needs any creative advice, but I think a power slide with sand flying and footage of some high speed runs would be great to see on TV. What would you guys like to see in that commercial?

+1 for footage from Todd, I'm sure he has lots o' G's worth of footage they could use! Let's see it!!

Okay video, but I prefer the new mainstream one

And lest it need to be said.... throw in a furry critter and any GoPro Video immediately bumps up to the top of my favorite list.

No surprise, Sam comes through again! Thanks!

Todd definitely has enough footage to grab something and have GoPro throw it up on the commercial. I will let him know to try and send some clips so they can use in a commercial. He is sponsored by them, they have to be watching his videos!

Would do wonders for the buggy and kite world!

Yes, Todd could def. line up some more buggy awareness thru Go Pro! (well, maybe not too much...Wildwood is getting crowded!)

Most awesome Gp Pro things I ever seen were those teens doing flips off a cliff and paragliding onto their suburban cul de sac below. Also, the NZ(?) fellow doing a graceful OBE off his kite bike as it heads into the water.

(furry critters are OK too...but.... girls in bikinis...doing anything....) :singing:

Need more hints to find this one, but in the mean time.... flying home to the bowsers will have to do. for the furry ground crew.

Funny you bring this up… I have a few things in the works and yes GoPro is one of them. Thanks for the vote of confidence guys!

"Need more hints to find this one, but in the mean time.... flying home to the bowsers"

It was from a few years ago - I can't find it again yet either. Nothing as professional and spectacular as some of this other stuff. Just three young guys jumping and flipping one after another off a hillside (prob. in CO, UT or CA). They glide in line down onto the sleepy little suburban street below the hill, probably where they live.

Me and my friends would go bike riding after school, but these guy's base jump over their freakin' houses! They'd probably get to do it a few times each evening!

You can just hear their mom say "OK...just don't land too late for dinner..."!

If you thought kiting is expensive wait till you see the price of one of those. Of course you can get a ride in Quincy if you go in May.

lamrith - 13-11-2011 at 09:29 PM

yeah I know those are spendy, but the lack of wind lately, it would give me a way to play :-p

Have to see what sort of licensing is required..

So let me know when Todd's add is on tv so I can go to a niebors and watch it. Or better yet post it here Sam :wee:
I'm sure it takes some time to get things on TV unless your Not herassing women and running for president.
