Will someone help me find a good rack for carrying my buggy on the back of my car that won't brack the bank

ihatework - 16-11-2011 at 07:13 PM

What size hitch and what would brack the bank?

DAKITEZ - 16-11-2011 at 07:16 PM

Hey D , you don't just FIND one of those. That is a custom item.Van is closer to you than I am ,so that would be his turf. Shoot him a U2U, I'm sure he will hook you up.

Dakitez this is just what I need now to get one here

This rack is the bomb. I have prototype #0001A. (And #0001B) ;-)

Holds my Ivanpah very well. I am sure it will hold my incoming ice buggy nicely.

Big Mike's review is spot on. Not much more to add.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I am actually trying to not take any orders directly. Trying to sell my stuff through the dealers. Thanks to Todd and his time for helping me test the prototype. I still owe you prototype #0001C .. haha. It was alot easier to build Mike's rack since I've seen it in person.

Donaldgould - 16-11-2011 at 08:53 PM

Well I have a libre hard core and in need something can you hook me up van

ihatework - 16-11-2011 at 08:57 PM

lucky for you Donald - Van is very familiar with your bug.

jellis - 16-11-2011 at 10:31 PM

Alex I thought you knew that buggy?

van - 16-11-2011 at 11:32 PM

That was his old fling until he laid eyes on the apexx...lol

jellis - 17-11-2011 at 10:18 AM

You right Van LOL. Can you say "Taken to the cleaners."

DAKITEZ - 17-11-2011 at 11:59 AM

His skills had progressed further than a Libre could take him so he had to move on.

jellis - 17-11-2011 at 12:23 PM

I don,t believe if pay for overly expensive equipment, that you skill will progress. I would think skill comes from learning how to use your equipment, not from trying to buy skill based on bling.

Donaldgould - 17-11-2011 at 01:06 PM

Yes I got s good deal on the libre buggy but he is happy with it so life is all good here. It won't leave me for a long time

BeamerBob - 17-11-2011 at 03:05 PM

I think the buyer and seller need to be the ones to determine a fair price.

I also need a buggy rack. I would love one that will haul the Apexx and the Hero without any disassembly. I've spoken with Van about this and just haven't had a chance to work up a design. Good things should come from this. Van is meeting a market need that has been vacant till now.

jellis - 18-11-2011 at 12:21 AM

Can you name those benifits that no other buggy has? I should have clarified "taken to the cleaners" as I had a customer that was willing to pay around a $1000 for the buggy Donald got for $300.

csa_deadon - 18-11-2011 at 04:10 AM

So did Donald find a rack? :puzzled:

Donaldgould - 18-11-2011 at 05:57 AM

Jon i payed $900 it was not your buggy to sale . We are talking about were to get a good rack not who sold what for what
