I just bought one of these for use with an LEI, haven't tried it yet but will probably use it with the arcs as well. Seems like it's a pretty nice
design and would work with all kite types and sizes. Came with 20m lines though so Im not sure it would work well with the PL syn 15. Might work well
adding 3 or 5m extensions though, I already have 3m extensions that came with the nav bar so I'll give it a shot with those.
The stopper ball isnt on the bar though (it's in a bag with other spare/optional parts). To add it, seems like I would have to cut the knot off the
depower cleat and redo it which would shorten the front lines a few inches.

On first inspection the bar looks pretty nice, but I don't like that safety leash setup. If you have some turns in your centerline, then that leash
won't work. I much prefer the way my 08 Best bar is set up. I don't have a photo handy but it's similar except it puts the full safety on the
outside lines, not the center.

decent looking set, should be able to break down the end and thread the stopper. you will want it for sure.
center safety looks odd in the pic. ???slide ring stop goes through the bar?

I bought it used so the knot is somewhat set-in, will try to work it loose though, any suggestions?
bigkahuna - I'm not sure I understand what the problem would be with the safety. What would cause some turns in the centerline?

or set up in "kill switch" mode, but that only depowers the kite 26 inches:

in first pic ...thats different , i see how it works but its not a full release flag. not so good on an arc.
in the second....its kinda like a LF depower /safety as "ONE". the 90% depower when you let go of the bar. they work when new but foul with sand.
thats what i see. good option for most tubes.

Phree- The safety line is free , the stopper ball on it is one way
so it moves up the line when the safety is engaged. The knot passes easily through the hole in the bar.
I was thinking about the centerline twist issue bigkahuna was describing, which if I understand correctly would happen if I loop the kite and correct
the outer lines by rotating the bar, but the centerlines would still be twisted. I don't think that would be a problem because the cleat piece can
rotate independent of the chicken loop, so I can rotate it (similar to nav bar) to untwist the lines. Im not sure how easy it is to rotate that under
load, but will try it out and see.
Another cool thing is that the CL/QR fits into the hole in the bar so it stays "locked" when unhooked. There is still plenty of space left for the
safety line to move freely. I don't do unhooked anything yet, aside from stall landing, so that detail is not useful for me yet.
Maybe not having handles on the rear lines would be a drawback for arcs.
