We usually get a lot of NW winds in the fall to ride our favorite beach - Wasaga (in Ontario), but it's only twice in the last month that we've had
that wind direction to ride, so everyone's a little rusty.
In keeping with Bob's video of the NPW in the trees, here are two short videos from Dave, Ziggy and myself at Wasaga. In one from sunday, I was
looking 180 degrees from the kite trying to capture some video while keeping the kite low. The other from a few weeks ago after a short squall moved
through for a few minutes catching Dave off guard. It happens ....

(oh, and Ziggy finds a small dead Sturgeon washed up on the shore)

a few ruffled feathers, nesting on my repair table. Soon to be back in the air for Dave as good as new with a new bridle.

"Yellow Bird...you sit all alone like me...that is very sad, makes me feel so bad..."

TREES! By my count, 2M Beamer x 3, 4.8M NPW x 2, 7M NPW x 1 (+1 goalpost, and 1 light pole!) That's 8 times I've tangled with something I'd rather
not, and I've been really lucky, only a 2" hole in the 2M Beamer(fixed with sail tape), and 1 bridle on the 7M NPW (light pole)fixed by re looping the
end that pulled out, were the only damages. I gotta stop getting so close to stuff, probably need new glasses! :cool2:
