dumb question

BEC - 22-11-2011 at 04:02 PM

What exactly is a bump?...I know that buyers and sellers often help one another out but...We have all been taught that there is no such thing as a stupid question ( that's what we tell our kids) but I guess not knowing the answer for sure is stupid in itself. LOL

It's what I did to "Bump" your post to the top of the list of current activity. We "Bump" good sellers, worthwhile posts, help a good sale item to get exposure, etc.

So its not a girlfriend or wife thing! Thanks I now understand that it puts you on top of the list. Well if that is the case, then bump Chad on his buggy he has been trying to sell and to shehatesmyhobbies for some good conversations on the phone to help me out on upgrading equipment and steering me in the right direction for future things I will need.

"there are no stupid questions" well actually yes there are but yours is not one. Being somewhat computer illiterate it took me a while to know what bump ment. I rarely ask questions and prefer to learn from my mistakes. Over the years I have learned so much which if I had only asked I would have learned much sooner!

Keep in mind, though, that it's generally considered poor taste and demonstrates a lack of decorum to overly BUMP threads to the top of the list in the hopes of merely shoving the other listings further below (and possibly) onto another page in the classifieds.

But PoKiteTrash is right, a friendly BUMP for a good seller if you can personally vouch for them is welcomed.
